What's new

Dante scores 28 pts on 11-13(4-4 3pt) in 24 min

I watched the highlights and he looked unstoppable.
He got them a lead in the 4th, but unless the highlights lie, that's the last time he did anything worth watching.
His team lost by more than 10.
He did look good though and didn't seem to get injured and was using his length and quick first step. I think he learned a thing or two from DM.

Coach kept him on the bench for the rest of the game. I think 24 minutes is still his limit.

What an overreaction to one fluke game. He made his ugly layups and jumpers in ONE game, woo hoo, lets proclaim him next Kobe again. Next game he will go 0-5 from 3 and all will be back to where it was - his shooting mechanics did not change, and his movement is as ugly as always. And this thread should be moved to general NBA thread, he plays for Cavs - nobody should care about Exum anymore except his aussie homers. Go cheer for him on Cavs forum.

Who is overreacting? He scored 28 points in 20 minutes. No one said it meant too much. However, has Donovan ever done that? Let's recognize he was pretty unreal and be happy for him. It's ok, we don't need remorse.

The best thing about Dante going to Cleveland. He looks happy on the court. He never looked happy on the court with the jazz and he played for 5 years. Besides when he was tearing it up for a few weeks he looked happy then. Shame on U quin!

Honestly he was so good they had to bench him to preserve the tank.

He got subbed out shortly after the highlights end. You could tell his in game conditioning is not good, which is understandable.

He got back in for garbage time down 14 with only a minute or two remaining IIRC. It was on one of my four feeds of my PIP and I wasn't giving it too much attention.

I think the Jazz knew he needed a fresh start too. He clearly was not going to play here, and Clarkson is a good addition.

Hope the kid stays relatively injury free. A team like Cleveland is the perfect place for him to build minutes and get some confidence. I have always rooted for him. He always seemed to be a good teammate, and even when not playing didn't publically demand to be traded. All the best to him.

Just listen to this and think of Dante. You'll be ok.
