True. But if you’re on your way to beat up some puppies but help a grandma across the road instead, you shouldn’t get credited for taking the action to beat up puppies that positioned you to do good.

Oh yeah, I mean I'm not saying that it was still a wise move. Just that it's funny how that worked out.

If you want to get into crazy conspiracy territory, given the Jazz front office history and relationship with Cleveland, they could have known the Cavs had interest in him and would have an easy avenue to offload him if the opportunity arose- and we know they've had their eyes on Clarkson for a while too. They just had to make sure to pay Exum enough to make the salaries work out :p

this is rudy's best season yet even though his defensive stats went down.

Ed is a solid backup C on most of the teams this year, but what rudy's done for us this year is so non-human that it made Ed look bad when we tried to have him replicate rudy's work.
 
I was on edge the whole game. Still not calmed down. Can’t imagine what I’d be feeling like right now had we lost.

Tuesday will be tough. Kyrie is back. Gobert had to play 38 minutes.

NOP also going to be tough. Glad we got this one.
 
This is all great and all... we can beat bad teams. Which is what most of what the NBA is. Look at the teams we’ve played over this wonderful 20 game stretch. Bad to pretty weak I’d say. None of this matters if we you can’t beat the best 2 or 3 teams in the league.

The real question is: can we beat the Bucks in a 7 game series? Can we beat the Lakers? The Clippers? The Celtics?

I want to believe - I’m starting to believe - but much of this is fool’s gold - we haven’t been tested by the best yet.

This is the toughest the NBA has been in a long time. Multiple of these “bottom-feeders” in the NBA have been shocking the best teams. The only win in the league right now that isn’t decently tough is the Knicks. Not dropping any of the games is a huge accomplishment. The majority of NBA games, even between the best and worst teams, are decided by 8 points or less.

The Knicks beat Miami today who are currently the third seed in the east. No one is a guaranteed win.

Agreed.
I remember seeing some stat involving volume of three point attempts and three point percentage and only two players in history had hit these marks. The two players? Bertans and steph
Bertans would be deadly on this jazz roster
