They tried to "give" us the game.....

...and we wouldn't take it! They gave us wide open shots down the stretch to win the game and we missed them. They put us on the free thrown line to win the game and we missed that! Putting us in overtime was another gift...and we didn't take advantage of that, either! Oh, well. It had to come to an end sometime.

No it wasn't. It was a legitimate foul.

I agree in general with your statement though. We had many opportunities to close that game out and just couldn't do it. The biggest play IMO was when we were up 6 with about a minute and a half to go, they missed a shot, the ball took a weird bounce just a hair out of Bojan's reach, the Pelicans recovered it and Ingram hit a 3. That rebound would have sealed the game if we could have gotten it.

They tried to give it to us, but in OT they took it back... kind of a dick move.

Indeed. Game was lost, plenty of chances to win it. Tough schedule coming up, Another 10 Game winning streak would be killer.

I watched a replay and the clock operator appeared to have a very slow finger at the end of regulation. Had the guy or gal played it straight Ingram's shot at the end of regulation would not have counted probably because the clock would have read 0.00.

I saw that too, but I think the only thing that would have resulted from the clock being started on time would be no time left for the Jazz to inbound. I didn't go back and re-watch it, but it seemed like he got the shot off with like 1.2 seconds left and it doesn't seem like that the clock started later than a second after inbound. Just my gut feel.

It seemed to me that they were slow starting the clock the last 3-4 minutes of regulation to let the home team catch up. This happens and no big deal.

Our next 10 games have us at home in 6 of them, and we have two road games coming up against chump teams. We will probably be favored to win 7 of our next 10 games. Schedule not that intimidating!

nah, he would have shot sooner.

Jazz favored in 9 of next 10 games but some are marginal. 7-3 is not unreasonable expectation.

Donovan shot the ball with 6 seconds left on the shot clock. If he had take the same shot with 1 second left on the shot clock they would have had 3 - 4 seconds to get their last shot off. Mistake.

We put bradley in at the end of regulation instead of Clarkson. I think that was a mistake. They weren't going to favors. And we only needed 2 points to win the game after gobert was out. Our defense collapsed all game when bradley went in but we didnt adjust.

Ingles missed the free throw on our penultimate play to leave them in the game.

Gobert missed the free throw.

And that Gobert 6th was the essence of a makeup call. You cant look at it for 2 minutes and decide he fouled.

We had every chance to take this one but we didnt. Oh well. Back in the saddle tonight.
