The Official: Swallow your pride front office and trade Conley for Love

He was literally playing at an all star level just last season.

You obviously don't get the point so I'm not going to go in circles.
nope he was not. he was the tank commander for grizz. grizz let him fill his stats while they collect the L's necessary to pick up Ja. it worked out perfectly for both parties. if he was truly playing at an all star level last year, grizz would be competing for a playoff spot like they are doing right now.

and melo was a real all-star with better track records than conley in playoffs.

probably a better option if we want someone to be the "difference maker" comes playoffs.

Mmm, not sure about Melo's record. He has won 3 playoff series (8 first round exits) vs Mike's 4. Anyway, not sure why Melo is relevant in this thread (he sucks...take that MeloJazzKiller).

yeah 3 playoff series wins as the team's no.1 option weighs more than 4 playoff series wins as the team's secondary/tertiary option. not by large margin though. it doesn't matter since i never believe this BS with the "difference maker" in playoffs anyways.

Imagine if the Raptors traded away Kyle Lowry last season just because VanVleet was playing well and Lowry had a history of playing like crap in the playoffs.

They didn't because Kyle Lowry is a good player and they were willing to bet his past performance in the playoffs wasn't who he was. It paid off.

It's a similar thing here. Mike Conley is a good player. His whole career proves it. You bet on his whole career being who he actually is, and not half of a season. Unless you can get a clear talent upgrade.

I love Mudiay. Been a supporter of him all season when others dogged him. Mudiay at his best does not give us a better chance to win it all than Mike Conley at his best. It's just a fact.

Will the best version of Mike Conley ever show up? I don't know. But ya gotta risk it for the biscuit. You don't win it all being conservative.

Rubio is shooting better than Conley, has double his assists, rebounds more, has more steals, shoots freethrows better, and gets paid half of what Conley makes. Who still thinks we need time for Conley?

I don't think is worth anyone's time to discuss Melo playoff "accolades" and how they compare to Mike's. Melo has been pretty underwhelming in the PO had only one good run. I don't know how can anyone make a case for him.

The thing with Rubio is that Conley's career low numbers are similar to Rubio's highs. Rubio is a decent player but he put a pretty low ceiling on our team (more obvious in the playoffs, which is what matters).

both melo and conley are pretty underwhelming in playoffs as a whole, tbh.

The grit n grind Grizz were pretty relevant for 4-5 years and gave fists to SA, GSW, two historic teams. Denver was really good 1-2 years. Anyway, **** Melo.

What are you talking about? He's DEN's worst rotation player and can be acquired with a box of chocolates now.

Then we should get him for a second rounder in 2045 right?. He would be better than Niang or at least give options at the forward spot.

Gritt and Grind is what we need. We are the soft and fluffy right now.

That being said, Conley looks piss poor out there. Like shouldn't be playing basketball professionally bad. He has thrown at least 3 balls to no one in the last 2 games with almost no pressure. Sigh.

Yeah, and PJ Tucker is ranked #85 on that same list. Such a credible ranking.
It's ESPN's RPM. I'm saying Grant has terrible impact, similar to of Jeff Green's in Utah, except he makes $8m more. Below def/off numbers illustrate my point better .
