Shorthanded Denver vs Jazz 8:30 MST.

The good news is that Denver has to play in Milwaukee shorthanded tomorrow, and the Clippers are losing at home to the Kings. Forget about the Lakers. We just want to finish ahead of Denver and the Clippers, preferably with the Clippers ending up in the 4th seed.
 
Thinking about these last few games and looking at the next month of games has got me feeling suicidal.

Did you watch the game? Mitchell shot awful but didn't cost us the win. As a team, we collapsed to end the 3rd and start the 4th. He probably took 2 shots in that stretch. Not only couldn't we score, but we couldn't stop anything.

Our chemistry is off. You could tell in the late stages when Clarkson went off. Everybody was like - "uh, just shoot JC. Dont worry about running a play."

Coaching cost us this one. The lead got too big and then when we got it close, we didn't run plays.

I don’t feel that bad about this loss, Clarkson has been a revelation and we were able to bring it to a 3pt game. The Jazz are well in the mix still.
 
Apparently Mitchell always takes a nap before games. He skipped it to watch the all star selection. I use this as my excuse.

I'm ready to trade Mike Conley to NY for Julius Randle. Nevermind that the guy doesn't shoot 3s. On a spaced floor and with Rudy screens, he'll get on top of the rim relentlessly. His rebounds are a bonus, and he can play with the ball in his hands and make kick-out passes. We'd just need him to be like our 7th guy.

lol he’s the opposite for me. The guy looks like a marshmallow and doesn’t ever seem to jump yet somehow he’s effective. He reminds me of ward basketball. There’s no reason why Jokic should be able to play in the NBA yet somehow he does. He’s the closest thing to Sabonis as I’ve seen. Yes, even moreso than his own son. I actually enjoy watching him play because every game I wonder how he gets up and down the court and not swatted. He looks about 50 lbs overweight.

Agreed. We need help down low. Move Mitchell to the point. He’s doing it most of the time anyway.
 
Mitchell gets named an allstar, then goes 1-12. Would he have gone 11-12 if he’d been snubbed?

In the mix yeah, but it's a toss up at best against Denver, Houston, LAC, Dal, and OKC.

The rockets
Clips
Lakers
Nuggets
 
Its awesome to have 2 all stars, but we might need the practice instead. Going into the rest of the season, we need to prepare the correct stuff for Clarkson and also prepare for Conley being terrible (if that continues to be the case).

agreed. Even the lower seeded spurs are a dangerous team for us. The pelicans are supremely dangerous too. ZION would Murder Bojan and Niang.
