2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

Our success after Hayward was putting the ball in Donovan's hands on the offensive end and working our *** off around Gobert on the defensive end. Slowly but surely, we took the ball out of Mitchell's hands on a consistent basis and we stopped working as hard on the defensive end (probably due to different personnel).

Donovan is our star. Much like Curry, Harden, Kyrie, LeBron, KD, Westbrook, Paul and many other stars, he's going to have bad shooting nights. However, the team still knows to rally around the star because he can consistently make the plays that most players usually can't. There is identity in that.

We have lost our identity and with too many ball dominant guys, we will struggle throughout the rest of the season and postseason. I like Conley, but trade him before he's hated here and has zero value. I love Bojan. The guy fits. He doesn't see the ball enough, but he is a great fit.

Three hours left. We’re gonna end up with Kevin Love, aren’t we?

Well, I think it would be an improvement. I doubt we take on 3 years and $90 million after this year though.

However, I would do the following:

Conley, Ed Davis and NWG for Love and Thompson. Why not? Stack the team as much as possible and go for it.

I was just messing with the trade machine. Were screwed. Let's hope a good player that knows how to rebound gets bought out.

Not sure I like that deal much for Miami. Iguodala wasn't that good last go around, and if they could get Winslow healthy he seemed like he could be a real solid player someday. I suppose, they might be a bit better this season.

Our starting lineup without Mike is much better than with Mike... It makes sense in theory and on paper. Prior to bringing in JC the bench could use that microwave scorer... JC is probably better in that role though he isn't a point guard and won't get others involved... but as far as getting buckets he is better. So you can move mike to the bench and be small and marginalize what he gives us and still have the issues we have at backup big... or you can move Mike for a marginalized return....

So fun times.

Mike is the biggest mistake in franchise history

Pat Riley is deep dicking the league... he got away from the hard cap... dropped two terrible contracts (maybe three cuz Justise is almost as Ded as Exum) and he got Andre and expiring contracts... those players attached to those contracts are also useful vets.

Pat has no assets... just like us... yet that ************* is making power moves.

Not sure about that... he can be moved but we make every move we should make 12-18 months too late.

I'll throw something I think all teams would do in the trade machine... one moment please.

I’m confident DL will get a deal done in a couple hours to send out a couple seconds for cash considerations.

Well Jerry West is now creating roster spots. Probably landing Wood for cash.

Pat Riley is playing chess while most play checkers. Waiters and Johnson combine to make $28.7 million next season. Solomon Hill and Crowder are expirings while Iguodala will re-sign for $15. So Miami gets two useful players (Iggy and Crowder) for one (Winslow) while also saving almost $14 million for next summer.

If you also consider that Dragic is expiring and Leonard is expiring, the Miami Heat will have enough room for a max spot next summer.

Butler, Herro, Iguodala, Adebayo, Nunn and Olynyk plus a max free agent or a couple really good players.

We'd better at least trade Davis for a 2nd. No sense in paying the guy and having him sit around; not good for either the team nor Davis. Also, we need a roster spot open in hopes we can sign someone.

I will be both dismayed and shocked if nothing happens.

Here you go... we get parts... some expiring but all useful and make sense with the second unit. We get a second from Minny to save them a bunch of dough... we might be able to get the 1st that NY is getting from the Clips in the Morris deal... I'm cool without it.

NY needs a reputable vet... Conley isn't washed just not a good fit for us... he's played better individually, but takes the ball out of Joe's hands and is too small on the perimeter... doesn't make our core guys better... cut your losses and move on.

Man he's not even playing Chess... he's not playing any games... he's playing "My dick is big and imma get this **** done". We are playing wait by the phone.
