The one sobering fact from last night is the Jazz collapse in the last minute until Bogey's 3 pointer. It looks like we have a comfortable lead and then Spida misses a 3 and the Rockets hit two threes.
Super fluky as he played like 3 minutes and all were during the minivan attack. His second stint he played better D. Hope to see more.I'm sad I missed this one... I'm hoping we see more Juwan minutes... wanting to see if his +11 was fluky or if he is doing good stuff out there.
I like him a lot... I think he will be one of those guys that does under the radar things that help you win. Maybe. Mostly just want to see if any of these guys are definite keepers for next year.Super fluky as he played like 3 minutes and all were during the minivan attack. His second stint he played better D. Long story short. The Jazz offense is was and will be better without Conley. But we were not lucky to win. Maybe it's you the one who needs to get his head out of the sand. Stop your negative narrative on Conley. Last night we were finally able to crack Houston switch defense thanks to Clarkson and Conley. Watch closely how they scored. They found a mismatch and it took them half a second to attack off the dribble in order to keep the advantage and deny the switch. That oftentimes took two Rockets defenders out of the play (the one defending and the one who was supposed to switch). That led to either a layup or a corner 3. Sorry but as much as I love Joe, he hasn't been effective against the Rockets. Rudy's/Joe pick and roll is not effective either. It only works when the big man slips the screen before the switch. They tried a couple of times but the Rockets were pretty good at rotating someone over and intercepting the pass.
Big long term question: even if Joe production declines a bit with Conley, does it really matter if Conley start averaging, let's say, 18ppg on 45fg%? Besides individual stats, what evidence do you have that the team is worse with a good Conley? Does it really matter where the points come from as long as they are high percentage shoots?

It's like this, say you have a car that's running awesome. Then you bolt a turbo to it and now the transmission is slipping the rear end is making a weird noise and the brakes aren't good enough. Yeah the turbo is just fine but it screws up the car.
When your question takes 4 paragraphs expect minimal attention in response.Just like a politician avoiding questions in a debate hehe. I didn't ask whether or not the offense is better without Conley. I asked about Joe having a reduced role to maximize another player, evidence, and shot distribution/quality of shots regardless of player. It's ok to say "I'm not gonna answer those", "I don't care" or "I have no idea".
