2020 Presidential election

The Cato Institute is really not a reputable source. And, as was mentioned, I never said it was impossible. The statistically few cases where it happens are held out as shining beacons to convince us all that it's our fault that we're not rich. You know, like you're doing.
Okay, I'll pass your info onto the shining beacons who I am virtually surrounded by.

I don't think they do. I think they scared

Conservatives are more afraid of Bloomberg than Sanders. They used to be more afraid of Biden than Bloomberg, but Biden has since come off as a borderline invalid. Many are still more afraid of Buttigieg than Sanders.

Conservatives and conservative independents think Trump will beat Sanders and that it won't be close.

Aside from Bernie's always-angry demeanor and ideas that are coming out of left field, he hasn't proven himself to be particularly competent or effective. He's weak on the economy (even clueless), weak on immigration, and weak on foreign policy, which are all Trump's strengths. His main claim to fame is HCA, but that won't get through even a Democratic congress. His Green New Deal is a complete non-starter. Sanders and AOC are basically a meme for the angry and disenfranchised younger generation.

Once people scrutinize Sanders' ideological and political past, it will be way too easy to label Sanders as a radical and compare some of his base to Antifa.

Why do people talk about Sanders as though he hasn't been in the Senate for thirty years and run for president before? He's been one of the most talked about politicians over the last four years. I truly don't understand this notion that he has never been scrutinized.

You have a lot to learn.
Bernie will teach you.

He hasn't received anywhere near the public scrutiny he'll get when the GOP puts over $100 million into opposition research and negative ads. Vermont is a quiet little state with a population under 1 million people that exports trees, cheese and maple syrup. It's easy for weirdos like Bernie to hide there.

Few people have grilled Bernie so far on his foreign policy or economic strategies where the numbers don't come close to adding up. He'll miss the mark on immigration policies as well.

Sure, and this is equally true of every other candidate. He is the only one to have faced the Clinton political machine however, and came out more popular than he was before.

Dems don’t realize that they don’t need Bernie to energize anyone. They are already energized to overthrow the carnival barker.

With A centrist they would have won Prez, senate and house.

they are the party of stupid. Don’t know how to win.

HRC was the absolute worst pick in 2016.
Anyone else would have destroyed trump.

republicans know how to win.

which in a non trump world is great by me.

You mean Trump faced Clinton's political machine? Hillary's political machine was the DNC who just gave her the nomination. She didn't have to do much to contest Bernie, just ignore him mostly. It was agreed that she would be the nominee when she agreed to run.

They are the party of childish resentment. They started with Mueller, then a spurious impeachment, and now they're going to put forward Bernie Sanders as their candidate.

Their first problem here is Joe Biden. He was their leading moderate candidate. He sucked all the air out of the room for the past year only to repeatedly fall flat on his face. Now we're in the primaries and there are four or five equally weak candidates splitting the moderate votes, while Bernie rides by them all on his tricycle.

Clinton's campaign ran extensive oppo on Sanders that ended up being leaked via Wikileaks.

I mean, maybe there's a treasure trove of info about Sanders that only Donald and the GOP has, but I kind of doubt it.
