Free Miye Oni

His shooting was horrendous for a while. But I think he has the ability to improve - late blossomer. Plus, he always picks the hot hand to defend - not great for his numbers but is pretty fearless.

Oni will replace Ingles when he retires. I think he will be that good. Best player the Jazz drafted since Donovan Mitchell. You can come back and refer to this post again and again. When I try to visualize a player I try to give them some leeway - some players that evolve are like Paul Pierce, smooth, but not electric abilities. I see that in him.

ROTFL. This sounds like you picked up a dart blindfolded throwing at a board blindfolded hoping it hits the bullseye and not the village idiots ***. That’s bad Analysis on him.

He started by shooting
16.7% from 3 in November
25% in December
48.6% in January
39.5% in February

He's done that while going from a little under 5 attempts per game to over 6 attempts per game.

He needed a little time to adjust to the deeper shot... any of the folks who play basketball know how much further and how big an adjustment it is.

I became a fan when I saw him play at the first summer league game in person. He moved the ball incredibly faster than anyone on the floor and it was usually on point and on time. He took rebounds and ran the floor quickly. Also, I saw him turn on his athleticism with a cerebral deliberance. He wasn't spastic. He fumbled the ball and goofed up a couple of times, but I think those were learnable corrections.

a couple times?? He was legendary for how turnover prone he was and his loose ball handling, and he was out of control plenty, I think you were wearing your fan colored goggles, also slow your roll it was summer league. Everyone is a fan of their teams rookies in summer league. Lol

He had the best ATO. But there were a couple of doozies. Turnovers don't concern me at all. What concerns me is foul rate...that metric shows you can't play in the NBA.
