Yeah Gobert was pretty visibly frustrated after Mitchell shot that moonball 15 foot floater when he was open-ish under the basket
 
Refs conspire against D Will Texas. "F that guy" they shout in unison. And "Screw Goberts stupid large shoes" chimes in another....
 
On the second night of a back to back, the Raptors outrebounded the Jazz 53 to 33. Gobert only had 4 rebounds in 32 minutes.

Insanely talented?

They got an insane amount of shooting and Gobert. The two athletic guys they signed in the off-season couldnt even get on the court. The Jazz are a team with little flexibility with their roster. Their #1 option is probably one of the least talented playoff #1 options as well.

Gobert does not make Mitchell better.
Gobert should be frustrated about not being able to develop a minimal set of individual offensive skills.
Gobert should be held accuntable for constantly make all other players around him to adapt for him.
Love the big guy, but it had to be said.

Our #1 option can't do his thing because Gobert has to have everything run through him. Every set has Gobert clogging a lane a guy like Clarkson or Donovan can drive through.

He failed just as badly as other Jazz players do when they try thee same 1-on-1 into a hard paint shot. It's selfish play that bears selfish play. The Jazz perimeter players have to do a better job at feeding Gobert when he's open. Too many missed opportunities or low % shots instead of passing.

Yeah, you're a giant moron. Mitchell, and every other Jazz player, would be MUCH WORSE without Gobert's screening.
 
We lost ultimately because we got outrebounded by 20 boards. The combination of Ibaka, Siakam and Anunoby was too much size and athleticism for us to contend with inside.
