Donovan Mitchell tests positive for COVID-19

I'd be surprised if the whole team doesn't have it. I want to know what they plan on doing for the fans that were at the stadium on Monday.

Kind of a dick move... by Woj. DM was also posing for pics with people and wasn't shying away from contact with people at all... I literally remember saying to myself I guess he ain't scared. He gave Lowry like 12 hugs after the game.

Its just like a co-worker... one gets it others will too... doesn't matter how careful people are.

I can tell you the plan... not. one. thing.

They don't have tests, they don't have resources, there is nothing they can do really.
 
Rudy's "risky" behavior is a scapegoat. They were all exposed on door-knobs and table surfaces, fan exposure, media, other players, planes, cars, etc. All the prancing around by Rudy would have done very little to increase the odds of infection. This thing spreads easily. Definite dick move by WOJ.
 
Well, if other players were worried about the Coronavirus and Rudy was mocking their concerns by deliberately touching them and their things (like he did with reporters) then that is a different story. If he was just touching things going about his day to day life that is different. However, WOJ said that that Jazz players have reported this, which means his teammates were upset enough to tell a reporter...
 
The population of Utah is estimated to be around 3.1 million.

The odds of Gobert/Donovan being only the 4th/5th cases of CV are not impossible, but not probable.

My guess is the population of those who have it is much greater but simply aren't exhibiting symptoms. That's a scary thing.

Not to mention passing around the same sweaty ball to each other during shootaround, practice, games, etc. Breathing the same air on buses/planes. Total dick move.

Hopefully refund the ticket or provide a replacement when the teams play. Other than that, I don't think they should do anything.

I find it encouraging that many people who get the virus are either not impacted or just minorly ill. Certainly better than everyone dying who gets sick!
