Rudy has Covid 19

If they are really going at each other over this it shows there have been definite problems in the locker room this season as we have kind of guessed at. Again, imo, on Snyder to unite his team and the players to rise above the petty ********.

What Rudy did was a jackass move with the touching stuff joke... what DM and the other guys doing is what tears the team apart... selling a guy out like that is BS. DM was taking pics with lots of people prior to the game and was definitely touching people. No one is blameless when a virus spreads.

I don't think the guys were ever besties, but this is headed to a really bad place.

We can always trade Donovan and Conley for a Wood sign-and-trade where we max him.
 
I couldn’t help it, but I just felt a very real timer start clicking in my head. If Donovan doesn’t step forward with unambiguous support of Rudy (in a statement that makes it clear he doesn’t see him as patient zero) before this timer goes off, then he has lost a supporter.

I’ve written a very long piece about their relationship a few months back. I’ll have to find it.
 
I don't know if anyone posted this yet, but Andy Larsen has this to say on twitter about the whole microphone incident:

"On the Rudy Gobert microphone incident: at the time, I actually took it as a measure of support for the media. We were being told to keep 6-8 feet away from them on the assumption that we might infect a player. I thought it was Rudy thumbing his nose at the separation between us."

So, at least one media member, who was actually present when the microphone incident occurred, saw it than Woj.

I wouldn't put a cross on Donovan Rudy relation yet. Right now the media are blowing everything out of proportion, maybe when they both become healthy Rudy will realise he acted like a fool and will apologise. Emotions are high now with all the uncertainty about the future.
 
Rudy jokes were foolish and reckless, but there's a real thing, they're teammates. They were doing a lot of team things toghether, the conditions were already there anyway. Other people not joking didn't stop the virus to keep going till find Rudy.
