Based on what? Donovan has admitted he has had no symptoms. Is Gobert the first one with it because he had symptoms? Clearly Gobert must have had a more severe case of it, and passed it to Mitchell since Mitchell is asymptomatic, right? He is likely is...so why stir the pot if you don't know.
It is in the same place as the response to the mike Conley benching fiasco is. I think they are looking for it in the sand... cuz that’s where they heads go.Deafening silence. W T actual F.
I don’t know... I’d love to know how careless he was. He clearly feels remorse and has made no excuses... but I’ve done the same thing with clients when I really didn’t do anything wrong and just knew taking the arrows was easier and allows us all to move on.If one person in a relationship gets tested for HIV and is positive, then the partner is positive when tested, what can we tell about the transmission from the chronology of positive tests?
nobody knows whether he’s patient zero. And that’s the point that needs to be pushed forward to counteract the prevailing narrative.Whether he is patient zero or not, the organization should be standing up for him and doing PR for him no matter what.
He is the core of our teams identity. He should be treated as such.

With Donovan this upset you can’t pick a side......or maybe they already have?agreed deafening silence from the Jazz. I've heard analysts in 2 or 3 podcasts praise him for the maturity and great way Rudy has handled it since, and players from other teams around the league back him. Little to none from the Jazz and players Very disappointing
I think the Miller family is worried about saving its financial hide at the moment. The Jazz are going to lose money this year and the market for car sales or movie tickets is not exactly robust now.

That's a good point.I honestly don’t think it matters who the first to get it was. The virus is airborne. It’s not like being the first NBA player to have the virus places any kind of legitimate responsibility on him for its spread, or the suspended season.
The best way to combat this attempt at scapegoating is to own the common ignorance about the virus that was prevalent when he tested positive (shared league-wide and nationally), and to point out the fact that NBA players and employees would have become infected with or without Gobert before season’s end.
That interpretation is out there. But it’s a very minor voice, low in the mix. Where’s the FO?That's a good point.
Is Gobert hasn't tested positive league play would have carried on longer in some form. The other 5 players without many symptoms would have spread it even further. If anything the league should thank Gobert for getting a positive test.
