Following Potential 2020 draftees

JAy Scrubb has declared for the draft. Trying to become the first JUCO player selected since Donta Hall.

I think he goes mid-2nd round, unless something remarkable happens. He looks good against his level of competition, but his situation is similar to Miye Oni, imo.

If we were offered Okongwu, Toppin or Wiseman, plus a solid wing, I'd consider it. Part of the question is whether we think Gobert is going to stay in free agency and how much we want to pay to keep him. I like Rudy and think he's a max player, but I don't want to go too much higher than max given his offensive limitations.
Lol shut up

Was just on nbadraft.net, and they don’t have the jazz with a single pick. WTH? What’s going on? I’m freaking out.

The Jazz have their pick. It's protected 1-7 and 15-30. It's the Memphis pick at 22.

"2020 first round draft pick to Memphis
Utah's 1st round pick to Memphis protected for selections 1-7 and 15-30 in 2020, 1-7 and 15-30 in 2021, 1-6 in 2022, 1-3 in 2023 and 1 in 2024; if Utah has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Memphis by 2024, then Utah will instead convey its 2025 2nd round pick and 2026 2nd round pick to Memphis [Memphis-Utah, 7/6/2019]"

Unless Utah has imploded by 2022 it will most likely convey then, which is good since 2022 should theoretically be one of the worst classes in modern NBA history.

Bane is an interesting guy to me. Young senior who is a tall versatile guard with a strong build. Below-average (for size) length and average athletic ability along with age will cap him from rising too much, but very skilled. (Projected as a late 2nd round guy in the latest Athletic mock, but I think he rises)

Easily the best shooter in the draft and has solid size. Doesnt offer much else, but can really shoot and has enough size and athleticism to where he shouldnt be a defensive liability.

Sam Vecenie of The Athletic is high on this dude. Combo scoring guard. Shifty with good athletic ability and excellent handle. Mocked him at 44 but has him as a personal 1st round graded player. I like what I see. Was teammates with Jarrell Brantley.

Isaac Okoro is an athletic, Corey Magette-style slasher. He's a versatile defender. Interesting player, but probably goes late lottery.

Tankathon's mock looks more coherent than NBAdraft.net's, imo.

NBAdarft had some hits this season; Tyler Bey is a player they've been high on for some time and others finally caught on. That being said their mock is so wild. It seems im-****ing-possible that Daniel Orturu, Vernon Carey and Reggie Perry go top-20 to me. They also have Immanuel Quickley listed at 6'4" and going 24th..

Lamine Diane is a player I really hope makes it, fun to watch. He's a crafty slasher. Got a nice bag of tricks. If he could shoot he'd be set.

Woodard has all the tools and is exactly what the Jazz need. Thick strong wing who should be able to guard 2-4, can shoot and has good form (didnt take enough 3's in college), and is very athletic. Never put it all together at Miss St.

A lot of one and dones or players that went overseas for a year. I notice two Washington players in the top 20. They lead their college team to a last place finish in the Pac 12 and left their coach mortally wounded.

It seems like the NBA front offices are as enamored as ever with one and dones. Think Trey Lyles is still the second coming?
