What's new

How has the virus affected you directly?

I spread them around to have easy access to play with in the hand. Perhaps it kills this virus that is in contact with my hand before I transfer it to other surfaces or internally to myself. Like a hand sanitizer more or less.
Ahh, okay. I was picturing them being spread around like a magical barrier.

Now is a good time to get copper IUDs placed in one’s nasopharynx. With many OBGyn clinics not doing routine visits, now is a good time to get in and get necessary prophylaxis as well as support your local economy.

Haha in all seriousness I do wonder how effective copper is on contact in killing the virus. And if copper rich diets of leafy greens, liver, chocolate etc would have any effect at all.

Just had to shave my beard off, all the barber shops are closed, i look like an escaped psyche patient.

Based on a study I read about, one that was done about COVID-19 on surfaces, it stays alive on copper for a shorter period of time than any of the other surfaces they tested. However, it still lived for a few hours.

I've read that too. Does rubbing a copper bit reduce the time it takes if the virus simply landed on it? I don't know. Also effectiveness of hand sanitizer is inconclusive as the CDC has said that washing your hands is more effective than sanitizer. By how much? It depends. On soiled hands, sanitizer is less effective. When leaving the house for a period of time, wash basins aren't always available nor sanitizer. Rubbing a bit of copper you bring along may not be so bad.

You just need to put it into a cream and apply it all over your body.

Wasn't there a pastor that got arrested yesterday for insisting on putting his hands on his congregation as a healing mechanism?
