Following Potential 2020 draftees

Obviously the very top echelon of freak athletes but is he actually good at basketball? Not really sure.
Im pretty certain he is. He's very aggressive as a cutter and is a good open 3pt shooter. The question to me is if he can expand his ability to attack off the dribble. He's pretty comparable to Terence Ross coming out of college. Nearly the exact same build and athletic ability. I think Cassius is more aggressive around the rim and has more natural strength at the same size.

The ****** ting about him is that he's an old Freshman. Will turn 21 in August. Compare that to a guy like Chris Smith who will turn 21 in December and just finished his Junior year. Smith isnt the freak athlete, but he has more size.

Patrick Williams is probably my favorite prospect of anyone who has potential to fall to the Jazz....he has a chance to be very good

I kind of agreed with this for a while. I thought Williams showed some combo-forward ability similar to Deandre Hunter during Hunter's freshman year at Virginia. I also thought that Williams' athleticism and impact defensively gave him potential to be like Jimmy Butler if he developed more ball skills. The problem is, I'm not quite seeing much ability to play on the ball, just due to mediocre feel for the game and inability to change directions.

You're not buying in on Bolmaro?

The more I look into this draft, the more it seems strong for the Jazz. A lot of athletic wings and upperclassmen PG's.

Certainly has creative handling and passing ability, but that's about all I see with him as far as NBA ability goes.

That might be enough for me. He's only 19, and I'm assuming he can add strength and improve his shooting with solid coaching. He's also pretty committed on defense.

Just as an aside, Paul Reed is also only 20 having just finished his junior year. I was surprised by that.

Williams is a two-way player. He's tough. You think he'd get ahead of Brantley in the Jazz's rotation?

This was my draft Big Board for the Jazz in the 1st round...

1 Anthony Edwards
2 James Wiseman
3 Deni Avdija
4 Obi Toppin
5 Killian Hayes

6 Isaac Okoro
7 Lamelo Ball
8 RJ Hampton
9 Cole Anthony
10 Onyeka Okongwu

11 Tyrese Halliburton
12 Jaden McDaniels
13 Devin Vassell
14 Leandro Bolmaro
15 Theo Maledon

All these guys have the ability to change who the Jazz are. Then the next 5 guys would probably be:

16 Aaron Nesmith
17 Jahim’us Ramsey
18 Jalen Smith
19 Tyrese Maxey
20 Saddiq Bey/Patrick Williams

He's a different player than Brantley. I think he can develop into a really nice two way small forward, especially if he reaches his upside as a shooter

Do you know if the players are going to be independently measured by the league, in lieu of there being a Combine?

Thanks my man, I'm on it....I'm a big Aaron Nesmith fan as well. Best volume shooter in the draft. Reminds me of Buddy Hield

I can see that. Buddy Hield with a touch of Caris Levert at Michigan maybe... Looks like the best shooter in the draft. Thanks for chatting.

According to his Wiki Pat Williams is only 18 and will turn 19 in August, so super young. Possibly the youngest player in the NBA when he gets drafted (if he stays in).
