Video Game Thread

Anyone getting Borderlands 3 on Friday? Looks awesome to me and I've loved all the previous games, stories, humor, gameplay. I'm trying to talk my neighbor into getting it so we can play co-op.

I almost got Greedfall, but decided I'd rather get Ghost Recon in October.

Hmm, I might try to pickup borderlands 3 for the PC soon. I really liked playing the others

It came out at 5 PM MST. I've been playing it and it's fun. The humor alone kills me, that and the style is really cool.

If anyone else gets it on PC and wants to play, I'm down.

It still says its in pre-order for me when I go to the website. Maybe something with being in china. Ill get it in the next week or so for PC. No idea if I can play online though from China. It might be blocked or too many hurdles to jump through. But ill try.
 
If you like a Diablo2 successor type of game, which is normally not my thing, Last Epoch on Steam is actually quite good. It's still in beta but it's not like one of these things where they give you a bunch of junk items and then try to sell you bagspace for real money type of sleaze.
 
Been on Ps4 and during this quarantine I finished some.

Uncharted 1. This one didn't age well. Nothing to see here, aside from character introductions and seeing how a franchise got kickstarted.

Uncharted 2. Everything was an improvement. Set pieces, shots, battle sequences, platforming. Perfect.

Uncharted 3. This was still a lot better than the first one but not quite as good as the second. I like that they went more for a cinematic look but it feels rushed. Pacing is off and while there are some superb set pieces, in general they aren't as interesting as 2.

God of War. BOY!!!! 10/10.

Diablo III. Quite good and it plays well on PS4 but I don't think I will experience anything like I did when I was playing Diablo II.

Sweet dude.
Literally my two favorite games (franchises) of all time are god of war and uncharted. Uncharted 2 is the best uncharted though when I got uncharted 3 I also had just got a new bigger TV that was 3d and played all of uncharted 3 in 3d. That was pretty sweet but 2 was still better. I struggled too much with the ending of uncharted 3. Just couldn't beat the damn thing and ended up giving up after a while

God of war is my favorite franchise of all time. God of war 3 is my favorite. Freaking epic. I loved the last battle with zeus. Took me forever yet I never got frustrated TOO much.

God of War is collecting dust in my bookshelf. I just can't find the time or willingness to play video games anymore. Last few games I played were Civilization V and Battlefield I & V (terrible game). Loved the Uncharted series.

My problem was my own faction hated me, so I started my own. Loving being able to execute prisoners too... I've murdered entire clans.

I've been building a massive war chest with ransomed nobles, but now that I've got a mil in the bank it's open season on those Sturgian ****s.

I've got a good 600k, what I really need is more troops, at the moment I can only lead 150 men, need 200 to 300 hundred of hardened troops to conquer the map.
 
Finally started spending a few minutes here and there playing Breath of the Wild. Love it so far, will probably take a year for me to pass it as I tend to do every side quest and errand imaginable.
