I Watched The Knicks Kill The Jazz Last Night

And we didn't even need Melo The Jazz Killer to do it (he was injured).

Yup, with basketball done for the year (thanks a lot, Rudy Gobert) our MSG Network is showing us the great Knick games. We have so many of them. Last night I watched the February 6th 2012 game against the Jazz. Man, we destroyed you. Jeremy Lin in his first game starting in his life put up something like 87 points against you. Think about that. A kid from the land of the plague who never started an NBA game in his life absolutely single-handedly beat you. I watched the game six times in a row. It was beautiful.

Now here's the thing, the teams were miles apart in talent. My Knicks had six Hall Of Famers on that team (Carmelo, Amare Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler, Jeremy Lin, Iman Shumpert, and Mike D'Antoni). The Jazz? Oh, man, there were only two players I even recognized. This was your starting line up back then:

- Ronnie Millsap
- Thomas Jefferson
- Gordon Hayward (I didn't recognize him because of his Korean boy band stupid haircut)
- Devin Harris
- Raja Bell

You honestly think those five were any match against Jeremy Lin? You honestly were proud to field that starting five? Plus your coach was some guy I never saw before. It wasn't Sloan and it wasn't Snyder. Your unknown and clueless coach had no answers at all against the might of Jeremy Lin. Lin was the Chinese Virus and you Jazz had no Personal Protection Equipment against him.

Well, we killed you. Lin The Jazz Killer. I am glad that MSG network showed the game. I watched it six times and loved it. What were you watching last night? The latest episode of "The Last Dance" where we see the Jazz get humiliated by the Bulls? :D

The Knicks haven't "killed" the Jazz since the days of Zach Randolph. The coach would have been Tyrone Corbin, and that was the year that the Jazz were tanking so that they could draft perennial All Star Dante Exum (who now moonlights for the Cavs).

Jazz were like a 25-win team that year. Are you saying that MSG had to dig up that game from six years ago just to find a game the Knicks won?

They are showing ten Jeremy Lin games. We won them all.

By the way, I saw Enes Kanter on the Jazz last night. I laughed knowing you let him get away. Like the Patriots letting Brady go. Regrets? I'm sure you have more than a few regarding Kanter. That guy almost single-handedly led Portland to a Championship last year. And he used to be yours.

Go Knicks! You beat one of the worst lineups in nba history, designed to lose, designed to tank.

If Melo doesn't kill you, Lin will.
You had no chance against us. The league shouldn't even have allowed the game to take place.
The league was showing the Knicks mercy by starting the game without Melo. Face it your hero is a bum, a loser, and a hack who was a mental midget who never could put a team on his back.

I am so happy for you MTJK!!
Yeah, it's been a good season. We won the final game of the 2019-2020 NBA season so we are the Champions. And if that wasn't enough, MSG Network this week is showing the nine greatest games played in NBA history - the Lin Dynasty games. Tonight I get to see that little Corona Kid beat up on the Wizards and then the Lakers.

What are you talking about? Those guys played well. We had them crushed by 13 and the Jazz came back and made it a game. We respect that here in NY. One day you guys might win a Championship. And that's coming from a Knick fan who knows about b-ball championships. We are the holders of the 2019-2020 one right now.

Hmmm, I guess you never heard of Syracuse or the USA.
Oh please, he didn’t have to put anything on his back playing with the likes of Kobe, LBJ, and all the best players in the world. All I know is he couldn’t do it where it counted most in the nba and guess who he never could beat in the playoffs, yes you guessed it the Utah mother****ing jazz.

You really have no understanding of what Team USA Olympic basketball was all about. It was Melo's show. He was the leading scorer.

And this notion that Melo couldn't beat the Jazz is some bizarre bull that you made up in your own mind. The guy's nickname is Melo The Jazz Killer for a reason, you know. I was there at The Garden on January 20th 2106 when Melo put up 30 in the blink of an eye against the Jazz. He killed them. I guess you were watching old highlights of Stockton and Malone that night. Highlights of glory days in which you never won anything.

Oh, so it must not have been this game...

Uhh, two things:

1) Lin wasn't in that game. If he were we would have beaten you by 70.

2) Thanks for showing that Melo has ice in his veins and is the Jazz Killer. Knicks down to the Jazz by 3 with three seconds left in the game. Melo has the ball. Dribbles. Shoots....BANG! Tie game. Burke scored after that but that wasn't Melo's man. Remember the BANG, son. Melo is clutch. Down three, last shot...Melo sinks it.

Yes, Melo was our killer, he sure killed his team a **** ton of times vs the jazz, oh and who’s had more team success in their careers, Malone and Stockton or Melo, when was the last time our jazz owned mercenary, Melo make the finals or lead his team to the best record in the nba or win mvp, or average 30 in a year.

you’ve wasted the last however many worthless years you’ve got worshiping a false star in Melo. Let’s face it the jazz own him and made him their bitch in the OKC series, hell Mitchell as a rookie took him out having Westbrook and George to lean on. Melo is done (drop the mic, mind blown, thread over MeloTheJazzKiller is my bitch idiot) I’m out. I’m done with you, nothing left to say.

Lucky chuck off the glass, but okay.

Malone and Stockton or Melo,

Every human on Earth would rather have Melo's career than Stockton's or Malone's. That isn't even worth debating.

Melo was the man for years. Still is. Beloved, insanely great talent, decent dude, One of a small handful of human beings who won NCAA Championship and global (Olympic) championship.
The guy is top 5 all-time greatest basketball player.

What has Melo done in the nba other than lose time and time and time and time again and again and again and again. I don’t care about college or the Olympics or college. Olympics were teams with GLeague talent and college was less than GLeague talent. Is Melo supremely talented? Yes, so if he can’t dominate college or olympics then there’s something wrong, but he never did nothing at the highest level, nothing!
