Rudy isn't the extrovert that Donovan is. I wouldn't expect those things. Mitchell knows he's loved here, and he's been given the keys to the franchise. Utah has helped him become an All Star and a brand in the league.

I see where Rudy is coming from, if the organization is giving slack to guys like Conley and Mitchell in some situations and not doing the same for Rudy. However, there's a positive way to handle it and a bad way to handle it.

Maybe the solution is to trade Mike Conley, move Mitchell to the 1, and bring in another guard or wing who, along with Ingles, can get Rudy the ball more when he's in an advantageous position.

If the league isn’t able to reboot until after the scheduled start of NEXT season, then Conley’s expiring could have some kind of weird, one-of-a-kind value vis-a-vis a shrinking cap. If so, the Jazz should parlay the **** outta Mike.
 
Towns for Gobert makes good sense on some levels. Towns is an improvement offensively, younger, more dynamic athlete.

Gobert is more impactful on the results of the game, he is a game changer, but a step down on offense. If minny were done with towns and the jazz were done with Gobert there are much worse trades here (see zach lavine bullcrap).

Here's another so-called TrendingNBA link that says the Wizards would trade for Gobert with a deal that includes Hachimura. I think these guys are just spitballing and pandering for clicks and follows. Notice it's the same graphic.

Besides, Draymond is pretty much washed and has a 4-year / $100M extension kicking in. I don't think the Jazz would be interested.

 
I actually don't think we will see that...IMO Utah will never accept this;it isn't a winning trade as far I'm concerned.

And what do you think about this trade with Warriors?
Wiggins + Paschall + 1 or 2 1st picks FOR Rudy
Could it work?

Only if it’s 2 picks (including this year’s high pick) + a third team swoops in and takes Wiggins. And, even then, probably not.
 
I’d like to see a bigger haul like a trade with the hawks for capela and collins or a trade to Boston for brown and theis.

An article that was interesting showed a swap of Conley for Love. If the jazz pulled that off plus resigned clarkson and were able to land favors for the mid level we would have our eight.

That trade was used in bleacher or one of those. If we kept paschal who I think would be awesome with the jazz. What could be had with Wiggins and one or both of the picks?

If we could get Draymond and the Dubs 1st for Gobert, we’d be foolish not to take it.

Maybe we could swap Wiggins for Kevin Love. That sounds like the Jazz FO. I’d try to convince Chicago to swap Wiggins for Porter Jr.

As for the pick, I don’t follow the draft anymore, so I don’t have the foggiest clue. The Warriors’ pick will be good though, obvi, and there should be a great prospect in that range.

That would leave us with the Conley Problem. Maybe we send out Conley and Wiggins and get back Love and Porter.

Quick shut down the trade machine... they are ready to move on. I’m shocked we didn’t trade both of them I mean they had an argument and we’re mad and there is no coming back from that.

It took a long time to get a statement out there. Too long for my comfort. I dont typically buy into this stuff but imo the long response time confirms the rumors.
 
If we were to make a trade....Gobert for Draymond and a top 5 draft pick makes sense to me. Draymond would give bite to this otherwise soft team.
