First take on ESPN debate. Better player Stockton or Thomas? Heated debate.

Way to try and deflect, I won’t let you, I won’t dignify this with an answer

Nah, you have made it clear you have no respect for Malone. Ive made my stance very clear on Stockton. I think he is a really great player. Not quite on Malone's level but close. He is one of the best PGs but not the best especially if you are just going off of peak.

You think Stockton made Malone great and got most of his points for him. You think you could have got any serviceable big man and it would be about the same for Stockton. You think Stockton could have out scored and carried his team better than Malone.

I see the Stockton Isaiah debate the same as Dwayne Wade Scottie Pippen.

At his absolute peak, Isaiah was a special player. He was better than Stockton. However, his peak was very short lived and Stockton was a better player for about 14 years. Overall, Stockton easily had a better career.

Same with Wade over Pippen for that year Wade won the title with Shaq and maybe one more. Scottie was a better player than Wade for almost his whole career due to his all purpose skill set. Jordan was a loser in his career when he didn't play with Pippen.

So who had the better career? Stockton over Isaiah and Scottie over Wade no doubt.

Thomas' star has dimmed over the past 30 years or so.

Solid list by ESPN. Isaiah was a great player but Stock was better. I agree with those that say Stock should have shot more but he was clear about his role and how he wanted to play it.
