Even though he is in a contract year performance Goran is what Jazz hoped for with Conley. Clutch , tough and does not need the ball In his hands .

You can’t be ball dominant with Mitchell. He would be ideal for a couple seasons.

Hopefully Conley in his contract year will Shoot efficiently.

I could see it. Conley was playing better the last 3rd of the season so we will probably just stick with him. But I could see it... IF we unloaded Conley.

Dragic is not a good fit either. We need a player who has the size to stay on the wing when DM has the ball. Dragic is only 6'3 and will have a hard time staying in front of non-PGs. Though Dragon is a better player than Conley. An all-star and all-nba. Conley is neither.

Dragic was on our list of the Conley thing fell through. He loves it there though and they likely give him a big one year deal to stay.

Dragic ain’t it for us. He’s a really good player when healthy... I’ve always enjoyed watching him.

Cool story: Dragic was my pick for the Jazz's second rounder in 2008, but they drafted Ante Tomic.

IDK why people would disrespect Dragic in this thread. He's WAY better than what Utah has been throwing assets at for years at pg.

WAY better.

Hes not gettable tho. Just looking at this playoffs, why wouldnt Miami give him a FAT 1 year deal, he's worth it to them.

Dragic is a good player, but I'm done with aging traditional PG's. I like him as a player, but why does he leave Miami except for a stupid overpay? Have we learned nothing from the Conley mistake? Speaking of, where does he disappear to in this scenario?

I feel for mitchell to take next step he needs to either play off the ball or cue the mistakes. Right now he is a volume scorer. One of the best in business when he gets going but the ba in his hands in crunch time I do not like. He makes to many mistakes imo. He should play off the ball and play point guard. I think he should do both because he is a true combo guard.

Yes I doubt he wants to leave miami. He an International player and Miami is an international city in a state with out taxes.

I can see that but hope doesn’t go full Westbrook.
I mean Westbrook can't shoot, so I don't know that its a bad thing. Its called being a ballhog when you are inefficient. Its called heliocentric offense when you are good.

It's more about the added burden of constant ball-handling and playmaking leading to even worse defense (something Don was bad at this season already).
