Following Potential 2020 draftees

Bolmaro vs Hampton is an interesting debate.

Hampton clearly has the explosive burst and scoring upside advantage, but Bolmaro is the much better defender and seems to have a higher skill floor.

My big question for both is shooting and whether they can guard NBA 1's. For those yearning for a bigger backcourt, Bolmaro could make for an interesting long-term fit next to Mitchell. While his wingspan is super subpar for his height, if he can legitimately guard 1's he has plus size. As a 2 he is simply average sized.

This might be the best year for the Jazz to draft a stash guy as well since the roster is pretty full as is and with another shortened season (I would guess) on the horizon it might be better for his long-term development to spend the year in Europe where they are currently playing games.

Speaking of draft and stash prospects. I've grown enamored by Abdoulaye N'Doye of Cholet France.

HT 6'07
WT 205lbs
WS 7'02.5

Played a lot of PG this last year and does well reading the floor.
Shot 43% from deep this last season.
Great perimeter defense potential with his length and what appears to be a solid IQ.

Projected mid to late 2nd rounder. I would buy in to the draft for a prospect like him.

Anyone else enamored by Tyrell Terry? Apparently the Jazz really liked Carsen Edwards last year, and I think they would like Terry for the same reasons. But I think Terry is clearly a better prospect.

I think I'm experiencing PTSD on undersized guards. I don't want to look at anyone under 6'3 for some reason.

Terry has a lot of potential as an offensively versatile combo-guard. He has tremendous feel and good vision. You get the sense that there's a lot of untapped potential. He might also have grown to about 6'3". He's a much more interesting prospect than Carsen Edwards, imo. He can really shoot and has potential to expand his game off the dribble.

Bolmaro is definitely a dog defensively and I think a overlooked that a bit when I first looked him up.

He has some young Ricky Rubio intangibles and will probably measure about 6'6" w/o shoes. His motor never stops and his competitiveness on defense shows a love for the game and suggests he'll work to get better. His handle and passing vision are pretty special for a big guard or wing.

He's not a great vertical athlete, but he's got good feet, great balance, loose hips and moves really well laterally and end to end. You can see some soccer influence in the way he guards. He moves exceptionally well in a stance.

Is he really a stash guy though? If I was just about any team in the league, Utah included, I'd want him to be around for SL(under normal circumstances), and preseason to see if he can hang.

He's in his last year of draft eligibility. Anyone who followed the Frank Ntilikina story closely saw this kid years ago, like I did. The story back then was that he's the son of a coach and wanted to play in Euroleauge and not the NBA... Now that I think has changed...

If Im a team I want to get him in a private workout bad tho... cuz i mean u see the way he's built, can he really shoot it? he does have those combo guard type of skills, unselfish player thru and thru, they dont need to get a grip on that in workouts, he's as advertised in that dept. Seems like a solid candidate to possibly fly up draft boards late in the process.

I would definitly not compare Tyrell Terry to Carsen Edwards either. If Tyrell Terry was built like Carsen Edwards and had that sorta 1st step he'd firmly be projected in the top-20 of this draft and out of utahs reach.

I would cite the 2018 draft, Utah passed on Anfernee Simons for freaking Grayson Allen... U think 2 years later that same FO is gonna take 165lb Tyrell Terry 23rd?

To me there's a very clear disconnect in that logic..

and i mean Simons is a better prospect than Terry too, so even if that pick did go thru.... My stance would be this is too little too late and an overpay, cuz if u wanted Terry in 2020 you shoulda just taken Simons in 2018. /endrant

Im tellin ya the move for Utah in this draft is to buy a 2nd rd pick and take PEYTON PRITCHARD.. fans here liked Raul Neto, this kid is way better....

If you honestly think Tyrell Terry can help the '20-'21 Utah Jazz team more than Pritchard, I'd really love to hear why.. Cuz I think thats just ridiculous..

How do y'all think Tyrell Terry and Oregon would've performed this year if you swapped him for Pritchard? I think Terry woulda had his moments but for the most part it'd have been a complete disaster, in comparison to what Pritchard was able to orchestrate

I think Justin Zanik's drafting style is a bit different from Dennis Lindseys's. Also, Tyrell Terry has shown more ability to play on the ball as a lead guard than Simons. Terry's shooting could also be near to elite.

What do people of trading cash for Keita Bates-Diop. He's on the Nuggs bench and was a TWolves 2nd round pick in 2018. It seems like this board had him rated highly. He's had decent numbers in the GLeague. I know it's another team's garbage but he is still relatively young.
