Does it matter?
If he really said it, of course not. We don’t have any details and I’m trying to think of a potential situation at exit interviews where it makes sense. Is that ok?
Does it matter?
Let’s walk through a potential situation. What conversation could Elijah be having with Quin that would lead to a reply like that from DL? What could Elijah have said that would make DL react like that?
Quote tweet it and show me.
K bigotDid you read my post or are you as stupid as most racist-apologist jazz fans? I covered this.
thats not me calling most jazz fans racist. It's calling them racist apologist.K bigot
I fear you're right about Utah letting it simmer. That's exactly the wrong thing to do. Get it in the open and deal with it head on. I hope Rudy comes forward with his impression if he does speak with Elijah, it would in effect force everyone's hand. I wouldn't think a direct conversation between Elijah and DL would be a bad idea either. The worst part about making an accusation, or conversely, being accused, is not having due process and finding a resolution. At the end of the day it's a matter of public opinion. It isnt a right or wrong thing. Utah as a reputation (earned or unearned, not here to argue, but it exist). If this was a medium wage worker who worked in a non-public facing position it's a different conversation and one where I would lean more on the side of "We need stronger evidence/reasons to believe". DL is going to be fine regardless.
I'm sure Utah will let it simmer, see how the media picks up the story, then act accordingly based on player reaction. This could easily get swept under the media rug because what Elijah claims isnt that headline grabbing.
But yeah, I would probably fire him, especially if no players are coming out to defend him. Utah has to be more diligent about these things to help their image. I would probably wait to hear from Rudy as well since he says he would contact him for the larger story.
Maybe you should reread my post. I said I would take it to my grave if not immediately divulged. That’s just me I guessYou have to be incredibly stupid to not understand why someone would wait. Just put yourself in someone else's shoes and think critically for a minute and it should come to you.
It's more than meh, especially if he's denying it. He just needs to own it and apologize
Memory is extremely unreliable. Elijah got fired from a job that was everything to him. Of course he hates Lindsley for that. He will for the rest of his life. After six years of stewing about what might of been, it is entirely possible that ALL of his memories of Lindsley have been distilled to a caricature of the villain he needs him to be.
And Cy, don't pretend you know Dennis Lindsley. You don't. I'm, in fact, really embarrassed for you.
I have fun with your wife while bearing the cross while she complains about her racially insentive husband.Cy is the biggest stand in victim on the board. He'll bear the cross of offense for anyone.

I could see it being a distraction and hurting the players on the team mentally which could make them not play as well.Dude, DL being fired or not has little to no impact on the Jazz this year. I dont think its "screwing" the Jazz too badly in the immediate. Maybe it hurts the Jazz in free agency, but DL should be an easy fire with how many assistant GM's Utah has been grooming.
Well a fairly mediocre GM could result in the best start in franchise history because we have a great coach who made something out of nothing and made the GM look ten times better than he actually is.Fairly mediocre doesn’t result in the best start in franchise history through 32 games and 4 games up in the loss column ahead of the 2nd place team in the league (who you happen to own the tie breaker against so 5 games up wow.

These sorts of comments don't belong. Cast your next stone a little more wisely. You calling for Dennis Lindsey's job when feeling this stuff is appropriate is a joke.I have fun with your wife while bearing the cross while she complains about her racially insentive husband.
