2019 Prediction Contest Winner
Jazz have 29 games remaining.
- 17 are home games vs. 12 road games (Jazz are currently 17-2 at home)
- 19 are against teams currently in the lottery
- Ranked 30th SOS by Tankathon

Matchups include: Rockets (2), T'wolves (2), Thunder (2), Kings (3), Cavs, Magic, Bulls, Wizards, Warriors, Raptors and Grizzlies (3)

538 Projects the Jazz to finish with 54 wins and the best record in the league by 5 games.

Lebron is supposed to be out like 3-4 more weeks apparently... AD might be out another couple weeks... There is a real chance they slip to the play in tournament. I will be so pissed when we lock up the #1 seed only to get the ****ing Lakers in the first round.

The thing that would suck most is the amount of thumbs on the scale to ensure the Lakers don’t have a first round exit. Can you imagine how big of a disaster that would be for them?

I think the Lakers bottom out as the 6th or 7th seed then bounce up a spot or so when their team re-assembles. They could be looking at the Nuggets or Clippers in the 1st round though.

If Bron is out a few weeks and AD isn’t back soon they could drop like a rock. I saw some stuff on them being far apart with Schroeder on an extension and wonder if he gets to be a problem... he’s kinda prickly. They in real trouble here.

In a single elimination game the league would pull out all the stops to make sure Lebron isn’t eliminated. Dick Bavetta would officiate with Vince McMahon and a one time appearance from Tim Donaghy. They would have to be so thoroughly outplayed to lose... it’d be a disaster for the league.
 
This is good news because we're pretty much a lock to finish in 1st but at the same time I can't help but wish we had a few more games against really good teams. A lot of games the rest of the way are going to be boring AF.

Not sure we can believe what we hear.

Lakers probably manage the press as well as the load. Question everything. Play our best just enough, give our bench as much play as practical.

I think it might tighten up and just get real hard to pick your position in the last few games. Not a good bet, no way to play.

But it's not a "real" championship if it's because the other teams lose key players, is it?

Its been said but i would prefer some decent tests along the way to keep them sharp. But, since that wont happen much, im suuuure Quin will take the time to go deeper into the bench to get an Oni or Morgan prepped to potentially contribute during the playoffs.
