royce oneal is the worst defender he made shorder look like michael jordan and george niang is complete garbage maybe the worst player in the league

On the waiver wire today is Mo Wagner by the Celtics after they signed Jabari Parker. He is 6'10" and was a late first round pick in 2018. If Dok ain't coming back this year why not take a flier on this guy? He has a 30 point 15 board game in the Association. It's apparent they think Hughes is garbage and if we need to rest Rudy and Favs coming down the stretch, this kid could give us another big body.
Thus putting to bed the idea that we couldn’t have nabbed Theis.

I think Bojan needed to show a little on that play. They slipped the screen and we botched the coverage. Prolly could have just trapped but he’s so damn fast it may not matter.

After watching him and Ersan today I’m even more sure we could have figured out backup center without the Favs deal. I’m also looking at our cap situation going forward and it could get even more dire when DM makes an all nba team this year and his max goes up by 6M.

Long story short... the Favs deal gonna cost us either Mike, JC, or Bojan... or it’s gonna cost some draft capital (which we are super short on) to move it.

It becomes even worse when you understand that his deal will throw us into the repeater tax a year earlier.

That's why we need to win it all this year and worry about future seasons later.

That's what I thought as well. Have to respect Kuzma so switch could have been a better option. Still Royce has to make it tougher there. I wouldn't mind a foul either once the coverage was botched. Even if Schroeder makes 2 and ties it, you get more time on the clock.

Royce didn’t even get hit by the screen though he went right over it without any resistance.

We are not signing anyone with upside who fills a need. That's not the jazz way.

I don't know why he didn't foul the crap out of him and make sure he doesn't get the shot off. He would have to make two shots and it might have left some time for the Jazz to get a shot off.

In hindsight, it seems obvious to just play super aggressive D once he crosses the 3-point line. Either you don't foul and make it tough or you foul and give your self more chances to win.

Probably rest.
From what I saw though, they really wanted to win the game. Winning is good

If we really wanted to win why did we rest half our team? I get lost managing. But it felt like today really was a throw away game. And if we’re gonna throw it away, why play aging Jingles so much time? Hell, Hughes got zero burn
