The Lakers are Going to End up as the #7 Seed

I think there is something more here... like he’s more hurt than they are reporting. Getting Lakers in the first round is no longer the worst thing. AD tweaked his ankle and has back spasms... coming off the Achilles thing too... they are playing a dangerous game there.
I've been saying this for a while now. Better to play them while they are hobbled a bit, trying to find a groove after hastily getting everyone back from injury rather than possible after they have had 2 solid series to get their groove back.

I remember when he quit on the Cavs...

I will never forget.

He's a guy who can win games all by himself and in his last playoff series before he left the Cavs the first time he decided he didn't want to win any games for them.

That is and always will be who he is to me.

Just like Korver will always be the guy who pulled shots to get the single season 3pt% record in a game where his team needed him to take wide open 3pt shots to get on the top end of the bracket.

That's bad juju for the Lakers.
This is why he will never be GOAT as far as I am concerned. Jordan had zero quit in him. LeBron has plenty.

Even better for someone else to knock them off.

“Lol the jazz don’t care about seeding just health lol seeding stupid lol”
Agree. This we don't want them is all fans. They know if they going win a chip you gotta beat the best and will have to face them sometime. Redsox slayed their enemy and then rolled to their first WS since Bambino

Agree. MJ had heart that I've only seen in Bird,Isiah Thomas(80s player one) and Kobe.
Those guys wanted to destroy you. Lebron wants to be your friend. Lebron also sold out that young group of Ingram,Ball,Hart. Magic had a plan for him to start playing down low so he could conserve his body but Lebron nope wanted ball in his hands and he got more wear and tear and got hurt. Had he went down low he could of aged pretty gracefully and he talked those kids up and then in end stabbed them in the back

On the other hand, if they are hobbled a bit and trying to find a groove the suns will take them out anyway so we still don't have to face them after getting their groove back.

Yes but don't know how it plays out. Think of the momentum the Jazz team could get by beating a beat up Lakers team early. Nuggets, clippers, suns are all worst matchup for the jazz then this current Lakers. With those two being hurt I would make sure to stick every team mate they ha e and make those two beat your make them make mistakes and take alot of bad shots coming off Injuries. Need someone bench to match Harrell energy.

To me this answer seems like the coward way out. To be the best you have to beat the best. Slay the enemy and then get a title

Yeah I'm more along the lines of take our destiny into our own hands. Don't rely on hoping someone else doesn't crap out. If we crap out that's on us and would take us down anyway. Not good to hope 2 other teams don't crap out and let LBJ and his cronies get their groove back before meeting up with us in the WCF, where the officiating will guarantee who moves into the finals.

Stop it. This is the type of stuff that is embarrassing to read.

I mean that’s cute and all but every title team caught some luck somewhere... you want to stack the deck. Lebron may be slow playing things a little and by the playoffs he’s 100%... now you get to deal with the second best player of all time in the first round.

Raptors had a ball bounce 27 times and then fall in for a game winner... then LD got hurt... Cavs needed Draymond to but punch through the playoffs and get suspended... he’ll even the warriors needed the Rockets to miss 27 straight threes... you need luck... we won’t avoid a tough team completely but we should absolutely be looking to setup the easiest path possible... no bonus points for taking a harder road.

Lakers will, most likely, end up as 7th seed but they won't risk another play-in game to match with the Jazz(if we remain 1st) and if they lose and make the playoffs as 8th seed, that means they are vulnerable.

Lakers are in a tough spot - AD is broken right now, Lebron is banged up, their depth is tested, not a great time.

Blazers have a pretty tough ending stretch to the season so they aren't on solid footing. Lakers are a tad better, but at least get Suns/Knicks at home. Mavericks are going to roll the rest of the season with their schedule.

I don't particularly care for the play-in as the NBA needs to sack up and just make it 1-16 combining both conferences, but it's what we have right now.

It just sucks that in the West you win the #1 or #2 seed and get either Lebron or Steph (maybe). I guess the East isn't much better as you might get Miami or a Wiz team that is suddenly kinda interesting... just a wild year. The talent in this league is just bonkers.

Lebron James never had a father. So let him take a few days off to take it easy on his ankle instead of traveling with the team.
I mean, OK, but he missed the last two games when the team was playing at Staples too. What's more, his coach kinda called him out on it too. Something IS kind of strange.
