Remember when Hayward left?(sad times) Rodney Hood was supposed to fill his role but was a disappointment. Exum also got injured(sadder times) Who would have thought that a rookie Mitchell was going to take us to the playoffs. Booker maybe a better shooter and passer but overall impact it's DM. He's the guy you want to build on. He's got leadership qualities. But then I'm biased.

I think it is safe to say that Gobert has zero chance of ever winning another DPOY.

This is the overwhelming narrative on him now. It's not fair, but the truly disappointing thing is that, in many ways, he brought it on himself when he visibly eased off the intensity and had inexcuseable mental lapses that gave the Clippers new life once we got up 25.

Exactly. Dude is getting dragged hard. Look at the first couple of replies.

I would be surprised if he wins another DPOY.
 
obviously Gobert and the jazz defense were a much better matchup for PG13 individually. I mean he averaged 29 points per game against the jazz!!! but was only able to score 34 against Ayton and the suns.

Gobert isn’t very liked around the league so it was definitely a slight jab at him.

Agreed and PG just finished a 6 game series against the jazz in which our fans chanted over rated and push off p at him and he probably doesn't like the jazz in general

There is an alternate universe where George Hill signs that 4-year 80M extension we offered him.

The best year of his career was here and it has been downhill sense.
