The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

This would likely be a good year to take the #1 seed in the west. The way the seeding is shaking out, considering injuries and everything else, the Jazz, Suns and Warriors will be the top 3 seeds. It's then looking as though Memphis will be in the 4 or 5 seed, and it's becoming increasingly likely that Denver will be in the 4 or 5 seed as well. Dallas and the Clippers will likely end up in the 6 - 8 range. While Minnesota and the Lakers are also contenders for the final two playoff spots.

If the Jazz can take the #1 seed, they'll likely face Dallas, the Lakers or Minnesota in the 1st round. (If the Clippers were to fall to the 8th seed, it would mean there's something wrong with them.) The Jazz would then face the winner between the Grizzlies and Nuggets in the 2nd round. The Jazz would be expected to win both rounds with neither series going to 7 games. The Jazz would then face the survivor between the Warriors and Suns, and they'd have homecourt advantage in the WCF. That's as reasonable a playoff draw as the Jazz could expect.
I don't like our chances vs. clippers, wolves and Lakers. so not interested in 1 seed tbh

Lakers are ***…. They are must see tv every night though… Lakers meltdowns make me hard!

Rockets out here playing three rookies trying to lose and Westbrook throws a wide open dunk off the back of the rim. Not sure what we all did to deserve Westbrook going to the Lakers… but we are definitely #blessed.

I'd really love to hear audio on the conversation when they pivoted from Buddy Hield. You have to think LeBron was a big part of that decision.

they were right about not taking the Hield offer. but yeah they probably shouldn't have taken Westbrook either

I swear Westbrook does something like this every couple of games. Man I would hate to have him on my team.

Seriously how is this guy viewed as a HOFer?

Herb Jones, an athletic wing who was taken five spots before Butler is showing some legit two-way ability. Currently averaging 1.3 steals and 1 block per game on the year.
