Games 1-2 of the playoffs are fantastic. The rest of the season didn't matter and hope springs anew. Can't wait for it and this miserable finish to a regular season to be over with (provided the Jazz win two ****ing games in the next four).
 
The game plan is to go into the fourth down a few points and then gain the lead without ever reaching double digits and somehow not let Donovan handle the ball in the last five minutes

Serious question, is it better for us if we bench Donovan for the last 5 minutes of the game? Not poking at him and not joking either. He is decidedly, and statistically, bad in the waning minutes, especially if the game is close. Would we be better off at this point running with, say, Conley, Clarkson, Royce, Bojan, Gobert, or even House in place of Clarkson? I know the offensive punch isn't there but it strikes me this could be addition by subtraction.

I certainly don't think we'd be any worse but it obviously will never happen. I would just like to see Don make better and more timely reads with an accurate pass or two out of double and triple teams.
 
It shouldn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out why things go to $^it in the last five minutes. How many degrees does Quin have? He ought to be able to figure it out and fix it.

Just kidding, I think we see a lot of passes from DM to Gobert tonight. DM knows this (not this thread specifically) conversation is happening and people are paying attention.
 
I’m pounding Donovan over 5.5 assists and Rudy over 14.5 points tonight.
 
May be they can try to put the basketball on Mike hands and let Mitchell move around without the ball a ittle bit... between Don and Rudy moving there should be lots of space out there to operate for Mike and the other 2 guys... IDK... a little bit of basics... but hell... what do I know....

It is crazy how often the suns are losing at the end of the 3rd and then end up winning the game.

I bet their fan base bitches about them not getting a bigger lead through the third quarter.
