You’re the one that said they have terrible assets so that’s what I commented on.

If I was pretending to be you, I would say they will entertain trading all of those players and one or two picks (they won’t go that far).
GS is going to tether the trade to Wiggins and Wiseman and maybe some awful picks. We won't get Poole.

Do you want those guys?

Wiggins, Kuminga, Moody, Wiseman, and all future picks.

It really depends on what you think of Kuminga and Wiseman imo. I think Wiseman may have some significant health issue as the Warriors basically put him in hiding. Kuminga is fun and has some serious length and athleticism... will he put it together?

Yeah I'm with Lopo on this one actually. Those guys all suck.

Kuminga is interesting, but I don't really see this trade moving the needle. We would be taking all of GS' spare unproven parts to give them Rudy. Seems like we would be doing them a favor.

Is Wiggins not the player all the Mitchell fan bois want to pair him with?

A long, athletic wing who can defend and shoot.

Have fun with that while I watch Gobert win multiple rings with the Warriors lmfao.

I think Moody is at very least a rotation wing and Kuminga will be a rotation big... his upside might be slightly exaggerated or maybe he's the next Siakham (I don't have a comp). Whatever you think about Wiggins is likely fair but you could flip him to the Lakers or Charlotte for Westbrook and a pick or Hayward and a pick... he will be on an expiring and played well enough to cheat his way to an all-star appearance.

Wiseman could fulfill some of his potential and he needs time... they really don't have the time to help him. A few extra picks on top of it and its not a bad package imo... but I can see some not being excited.

But for real, I'd hate Gobert on the Warriors. I'd hate to see him with Draymond, the dude who has gone out of his way to devalue Gobert whenever he gets a chance.

And most of all I'd hate staying up till ****ing midnight to watch basketball games.

If it was in conference I very much prefer it to be Memphis or Dallas... Portland would be a disaster for viewing but that's a team I could support.

It would be interesting for me. My basketball hatred has gone something like this:

- **** the Bulls and **** Bavetta.

- **** the ****ing Lakers in the early 2000s and extending about a decade. Never hated a team more.

- **** the Heat, I hate them more than the Lakers and the post-Shaq Lakers had my respect for Kobe growing.

- **** LeBron, I hate him.

- The Warriors tanking to screw us out of a pick… then getting good. Man **** those guys. Hard. I hate them more than LeBron and the Heat.

- Damn, I’m rooting hard for LeBron against the Warriors because I ****ing hate the Warriors.

- LeBron joins Lakers and again **** the Lakers.

There’s still a lot… and I mean a lot, of hate for the Warriors and their cocky *** attitude. They eclipsed anything possible for me to hate. And I’ve never rooted against the Jazz in any way (aside from tanking year which wasn’t really rooting against us). It’s antithetical to everything about being a fan. But for all the things that this franchise has done, and not done, to squander the most realistic paths to titles that we’ve ever had, it would bring me nothing but joy to watch them cap all that **** off with a bad Gobert trade, watch him get a few titles from GSW (with me pulling for him), seeing our predictable stagnation, and subsequently see Don demand out. It would be an absolute perfect ending to watch those who have driven this franchise from the regular season champions into a destitute franchise absolutely get their very public comeuppance.

Kind of wild Quin is having a hip replaced at his age, especially for a guy who appears to be relatively healthy.

Not sure about Poole. They'll have to pay him soon enough, which will be tough with all the max contracts they have.

Rudy + Rudy for Wiggins, Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody + GSW 2022 pick

I don't think I like it, though. High upside, but could also be giving away Rudy for very little return.

The Jazz didn’t bring in Danny Ainge to just sit in the stands with his Jazz hat on and look sad. They brought him in because, like it or not, he’s a cold blooded assassin - he doesn’t give a ****. He has no history/personal relationship/loyalty with any of these players - he’s there to push the nuke button and blow **** up. It may not be DM and Rudy, but changes are coming. My first choice to go: Conley. I don’t care what we get back. The guy is useless. Always chokes in the biggest moments/ injured half the time, and a DM/Conley back court simply does not work. I’d also trade Bojan - we need to get younger, more athletic, and more physical.

I think the best approach is to cash them both out. There’s a major team culture problem with the team and they are both at the root of it.

I am really interested in knowing which of Don and Rudy the rest of the team feels is the more cancerous drama queen.

On Checketts show today, Andy Larsen said he thinks Don and Royce are likely back, Rudy likely gets moved and Conley, Bogey and Clarkson he's not sure about...it depends on the trade market, but he doesn't think the Jazz will trade them just to dump them, they'll want to get value back. Checketts said when he was at game 6 someone in the organization told him "You're about to see why we hired Danny Ainge, he's the best in the world at what he's about to do".
