Having a big who can make reads and passes out on the floor is really valuable. Horford is underrated in that regard, imo.

Frankie Smokes having a rough few minutes there. Dallas can’t get loose cuz his guy is cheating… misses a couple threes wide open… not really bothering Steph at all. That is why he isn’t more than just a minimum dude.

Watch how hard Luka is competing on defense while also being the hub on offense… I don’t want to hear **** about Donovan not being accountable for his ****** defense because he has so much responsibility on offense. Luka is a whiny bastard but holy hell is he good and so edging competitive.

The refs clearly didn’t want to be accused of influencing the series. They ejected him against Memphis when they shouldn’t have and should’ve ejected him tonight. Bad officiating and playoff basketball go hand in hand. I remember the Bulls given 3 pts after the shot clock had expired, Eisley’s 3 being erased despite leaving his hand before the shot clock had expired, and an obvious push off foul to clear space for a game winning shot. Anyone else remember the old kings vs lakers series? Bad officiating is just normal stuff from the NBA.

The Mav role players weren’t good tonight. They’ll be back in Dallas. Dinwiddie, Finny Smith, and Kleber all sucked. They won’t with a ravenous Maverick crowd. This series is going at least six.
