Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

After a few great years in Memphis, Ja is headed to Utah for the prime of his career.P
We are not talking about basketball.
Yes, fortunately for the Memphis Grizzlies fanbase, Ja Morant is not being traded to the Utah Jazz. Rather, the Memphis Zoo announced Wednesday it was sending Ja Raffe, named after the All-Star point guard, to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The zoo said the move was made as part of a Species Survival Plan for giraffes, with Ja Raffe joining the herd in Utah as a breeding male.

Finally a first good move :)
This is the final part of the Conley trade. Now I don't think it was too bad. Those two first for Ja Raffe. I have always had a problem with the Jazz just throwing in draft picks as though they are candy.

This sounds kinda silly but the Jazz HAVE to keep Butler. We desperately need something to pop whether this is a rebuild, a retool, or a pathetic runback and he's the only shred of hope right now.
I don’t disagree. I think he’s been overlooked. With a new coach it’s a nice piece to have especially because I’m not as optimist on “Don at PG.” But I wouldn’t be surprised to see us compound our mistake of taking on NAW by making another mistake to get rid of him.

I would like to get rid of Conley to improve our wing position if possible and let Butler be the backup PG. I think the kid deserves a chance to show what he can do. I hope he plays summer league this year.

There was someone here saying that the day of the trade. Wish I could remember who it was.
Such a dad thing to say... one of my favorite things to tell my kids "Man if only there was someone that had the wisdom and foresight to see that this would happen?" Then the kids and my wife groan.

This is another weird thing Lopo does. He brings up instances when he was right on a completely irrelevant topic a handful of years ago or more to justify his current position.

He may very well be the only person I've ever come across that thinks being right once means nobody can ever argue against him on anything. The most bizarre aspect about it is it has to do with a trade that I never even argued with him about. I've been pretty outspoken about how much I dislike the Conley trade.
Good for you. You agreed with me on my theory proven right about Conley. You might want to jump on my theory that we can be just as good of a playoff team without Rudy as we are with him.

That's a thing you can tell your listeners about later in your musings.

We have to make the playoffs first. If we do this Chicago deal we won’t be.

Lopo got PTSD of me ******** on him so he operates as if everyone he is talking to is me. I live in his head rent free.
