Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Why do Celts want Clarkson
They have a terrific three guard rotation of Smart. Tatum, Brown right?
They are trading us Brown baby!!!
Just since it’s a hot topic:

Mark Cuban is being a huge ****ing idiot. It is unbelievable. You always retain assets worth retaining even at a high price tag. And it the bill really is too steep you trade out later.
Funny thing is Cuban ****ed up. Brunson wanted to re-up on a 55 million $ deal before last season started and Cuban said no.

Jazz need to swoop in at the 11th hour and trade Donovan to New York. Would be nice to mostly dump his money into space.
If they swoop in and trade for Murray with all those picks the Don to Knicks trade closes up. There are not an infinite amount of teams that will give up their draft futures for Donovan. Miami will also do "something" this summer. But dat all starrz game doe!!!

It's welrd that no one knows what to think about this trade, lol. They just trying to save money.
They dropped below the tax. They also thinned out a thin roster... everything they do is to save money... wild they didn't wait 12 months to extend MP Jr. given his health history.

Yep. And great trade by Washington. Might actually pan out well for Denver too.
Its awful for Denver. Morris is so solid and signed on a bargain deal. Barton isn't amazing but is roughly equivalent to KCP. This is all about the $6M they shaved off to get under the tax. They got a two time MVP and are allergic to paying tax.

There is not an infinite amount of deals out there for our little chucker with the big smile. The Knicks are the spot that will pay the most and letting that window close is an incredible mismanagement of assets. They are obviously desperate for star guards, saying nothing of the multitude of CAA ties and the extra ~$70 million it puts in Ryan’s pockets.

I think they'd still sign Brunson and do the deal with picks and Fournier, Toppin, Quickley... take 5-6 picks and that and walk away.

Its almost like that thread I started... the Knicks were at the cross road of desperation and hope and would have laid up basically everything on the table to get their guy.

How about something along these lines:

NY Out: Fournier/Toppin/Quickley/picks?
NY In: Mitchell

Utah Out: Mitchell/Conley
Utah In: Fournier/Murray/Toppin/picks?

SA Out: Murray
SA In: Conley/Quickley/picks?

Did Hardy/Murray work together extensively?

I don't like it for Denver, but I'm am a fan of KCP. I think he could be very impactful for them come playoff time. He provides an edge they seem to lack.

Denver cuts so many corners its incredible. Makes me appreciate Ryan quite a bit. Last year they didn't want to pay Davon Reed to convert his contract and he was not eligible for the playoffs... likely doesn't make a difference but just so bush league.

I like KCP for them but they are hurting their depth... Murray will be back but you want to force him into 36 minutes a night coming off knee surgery? MP Jr. will never be a guy you can count on to be healthy regularly. They are setting themselves up for wasting another year of Jokic's prime to save money.

I agree. They are taking a massive risk. Ish is a poor man's Monte Morris who is a below average starter.

I like KCP better than Barton, but you're right, they are risking a lot by going a bit thinner on quality.

Monte filled a lot of non-Jokic minutes as the PG. Now they need Bones to step up significantly. Murray was good but he didn't necessarily contribute much to playmaking. They can't even force him minutes as he is coming back from an injury.

Kcp fits but it's just lacklustre as overall talent.
