Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Beasley/Beverly's expiring deals and a pick for Collins?

Jazz should stay away from Collins. He can’t guard wings and he can’t guard bigger body PF’s and Centers. He is a defensive liability and is effectively a 6’8 tweener center. Ask Hawks fans what they think of him and how frustrating he is to have on your team. I would actually prefer Simmons, who if healthy offers much much more.

It is strange the Jazz havent tweeted a single thing about the new players they got.

Makes me think a trade might happen soon? If this thing were going to take a minute, you'd think they would welcome them on twtter.

Jake Fischer said he won't be surprised if some of the pieces from Minnesota get moved, he said he knows of one team they're having discussions with right now.
Well now that the trade is final those guys can't be aggregated for another trade for 60 days. Could be moved by themselves or we could agree and then execute in 60 days. I would think if it was really close that we'd have folded it into the trade we executed today.

My guess is we see a Mike or Don trade before the new guys. I'd just like to know if we are tanking or trying... and the next move should be the sign. I think we are tanking... but only if something good comes for Donovan. I hope we wouldn't be in this weirdo limbo going into training camp. Obviously they will round out the roster a little.

Point guard.... FINALLY

So if the Nets hold onto Durant indefinitely, is the market just dead indefinitely?
Nah... eventually teams move on... although Miami and Phoenix may hold off on some business to wait it out.

I think it would be wise for Brooklyn to do their work early unless they think KD might have a change of heart. The longer they wait the more suitors that can drop off and now you have to hope a team will negotiate against themselves.

If I’m a real playoff team or contender, there are pieces I would for sure go after on the Jazz depending on my assets and needs. I feel like the Jazz have paths to several more picks besides Mitchell.

I say get all of them. Stock the roster with buy-low/rehab fliers, serious professionals looking for their last NBA contract (i.e. Millsap), G-Leaguers, and other projects. Sell high on the rehab projects as soon as it makes sense, see if you can dig out any Jingles/RoCo/Demarre Carrol/etc finds, and lose a ******** of games on the way.
One reason I am actually probably okay with the Herro Heat package (if we could route Herro elsewhere) is that I think you could slip the minimum guys in that package with Mike/JC/Bogey to teams looking to save and get a bigger return together. Say the Kyrie to LA deal never happens and you can give Mike/Bogey/Gabe Vincent/Strus to LA for Westbrook... I'm sure that is worth at least one pick and a swap... it saves them a bunch of money (which really matters to the Lakers cuz they are actually pretty frugal).

Any Heat deal should require the Jazz owning their draft for at least half a decade, consecutively. With all of the Heat’s advantages, the Jazz will need a big block of time that they own the Heat’s drafts to be sure that they catch them on the rare occasion they slip. AND the Jazz need to be pretty damn sure that they can re-route some of these players for more premium assets through some plan like the above.

And I think they could make the 2025 pick they owe to OKC unprotected and give us 23,27,29 all unprotected and swaps in 24/26/28. I think Herro gets you a pick or two somewhere else... Like if you sent him to Brooklyn with Conley or Bogey and then took back Westbrook in the Kyrie deal and added another contract for LA... I think Brooklyn would let us take the draft capital from the Lakers.

I think Orlando would give up the Denver and Chicago picks they own for Herro...We could also get Jovic who they drafted and looks solid. I'd likely settle in on that offer if I was Danny so I could have it all be resolved... I'm not sure there is a much bigger offer out there.

Had a busy day today at work was excited to come back and read 100+ posts. Instead UtahJazz32, YoungJefe and LoPo hijacked another thread with worthless trolling garbage. Thank you guys.
It’s this **** every ****ing day and I’m so ****ing sick of it. I’m not going to exhaustively dig through twitter and whatever to find the nuggets that are supposed to be in here and it’s mostly people still wanting to talk **** about Rudy for no ****ing reason.
