I could have gone with Beasley, but went with Conley for the following reasons:

- Mike's our only true point guard. I see Conley as our only guy that can really lead an offense and set up plays or get players the ball in positions that they will be more likely to succeed. His time on the court with our young guys will be valuable to their development.
- Mike has the highest potential reclamation value on our team, in my opinion. I think it's likely someone will be looking for a point guard during the season. I think Mike will play well and look good to start the season. I think we can get some good value from him in season.

I would limit his minutes to like 28 minutes or so and not play him on back to backs. If he doesn't get traded by the deadline then move him to the bench.

I think you have to give Conley the token start given who he is. However, I'd make him an early sub and bring in Beasley or Clarkson. Other guys are going to have to earn their minutes and it might take half a season.

I'd be keeping Conley on a minutes restriction, like maybe 26 or 27 mins, regardless.

Some of you guys may be expecting too much too soon from Agbaji, imo. There's also a log-jam between NAW, THT and Bolmaro.

It should be Sexton and Beasley, but I expect Conly and Beasley start with Sexton and Clarkston getting significant minutes off the bench.

Guys there is a 0% chance Sexton is coming off of the bench.
I hope you are right. I just wonder if we will showcase Conly early to help promote a trade and let Sexton ease into the starting role after rehabbing his knee for almost a year.

It certainly could be the case, but being Conley I think he just got to stay healthy, everybody knows who he is as a basketball player and character.

I believe Conley will be traded after a some random team has an injury to their starting point guard.
A team like the Suns, Clippers, mavs, Denver, bucks. Ect.

Not really. He's coming off a horrific playoff performance. I think the league has legitimate questions as to who he is currently as a basketball player.

People don’t talk about how brutal that playoff series was for him. Everyone wants to blame Rudy/Don, but Conley and O’Neale we’re both playing 30 MPG and horrendous on both ends.

I’m not even sure if it’s worth it try to play Conley to rehab his value. At his age, it should be expected that he fall of a cliff. He can’t play worse in than he did in the playoffs, but if we play him it likely becomes very clear he’s not a starter anymore.

The Jazz need to find a Bogdanovic type that is trade for him. He has no purpose here.

They should start Sexton and Butler. Sexton to get the all-star buzz going and Butler to see what he has and/or embrace the tank.

Ok. It's a valid view I guess. It might be doubters.
Allow me to rephrase: There are decision makers out there that knows Conley's basketball abilities and knows last seaason he was part of a discombobulated, outmannered, doomed team.
