Unless that ecstasy is kicking in a decade too late, yeah, it is.It's real isn't it?
Yeah, it's still early, but nearly 10% of the season is over, and this team is still an overwhelming joy to watch. Everyone looks like they are having fun out there. Conley. The new kids brought him some much needed life, and I must admit, I really enjoy a happy Mike Conley.
Conley needs serious props for taking on the “old man” leadership / glue guy role this year. He looks fresh, heathy and energized. He’s been a steady hand when adversity strikes and deserves kudos for leading that charge.Yeah, it's still early, but nearly 10% of the season is over, and this team is still an overwhelming joy to watch. I'm wondering about this myself if coaching had a lot to do with it. Conley struggled early on with Snyder's system but now hes playing like Memphis mike . Also Hardy said he didn't beg Clarkson to pass more, it was JCs own doing. Olynyk was an unwanted player look at him now. Lauri was underutilized in Cleveland now he's primed for all-star. These guys came here and got better and non of them had ego.I think more than a little credit to Conley and Clarkson improved play goes to the coaching change. I think Snyder was too rigid and pushed his process far too hard to the point it stifled creativity.
Absolutly. I remeber him saying that he was here for his job. I follow Mike since he got draft and it was the first year i see him with such a bad body language during games. It was hard to watch. This year, he is all fun with this crazy bunch of youg guys as his JC. And it makes a big difference.I thought Mike's struggles at the second half of the year were mostly mental. He's playing more free and confident and it shows.
