Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

Yeah but Kanye is about to step back in the huddle. Yuta was awesome last night. Plays hard and has about as high a care factor as you can have. I don’t get how guys like him slip through the cracks.
Because he's Asian.

Literally the only reason. He's tall, long, can shoot, has shown to be solid defensively. I get that he kind of got buried on Toronto because Toronto was very deep with wing type players, but it's ridiculous he wasnt picked up by other teams in free agency. He signed pretty late with Brooklyn on a minimum deal.

Yeah the prejudice of foreigners fitting into NBA is strong. Its often validated, and lowers the stock for even the most talented ones.

Even Luka fell due to that. Giannis, Jokic, Embiid etc.. all traded lower than their performance would have suggested.

Honestly I would have thought that could help him in some ways... but you might be right. I think there are other guys that slip through that should get more than the minimum but a big wing who plays the right way slipping through is kinda wild. He has been useful with every team he's been on.

He was 69% last year and last year he made a noticeable form improvement.

This year he started the season pretty badly, but he's shooting 82% in November and they all look clean. I think he's probably a 73-ish% shooter this year.

I’m going to guess he finishes at 69%.

The Sixers/Nets picks relies on two teams ****ing up royally despite having MVP candidates on each team. We got to face reality KD/Embiid are too damn good to give us a top 20 pick.

At this point we can hope that either our pick or the Minny pick end up in the lottery even if we just have a tiny 2% chance to win it.

Damn it all..

Probably right. At least we only gave up royce for that pick though right?

Minnesota

7-8

As of today would be tied for the #12 pick in the draft.

Brooklyn

7-9

As of today would be tied for the #8 pick in the draft.

Philadelphia

8-7

As of today would be the #15 pick in the draft.

We own Minnesota’s pick unprotected and get the lesser of Brooklyn/Philadelphia/Houston’s picks.

Updated. We are 1/5 of the way through the season and would have picks 12/15/27 if the draft was today.
