Boller is elite at interviewing and never asking a question.

“You scored a career high 38”

“………..ok”
Awesomeness. We are going to miss the laughs when he is gone.
I remember one play tonight where a suns player (booker I think) hit a kinda long two. But not even really that long of a two. It was like 18 footer or something. Boler says "he hits a three" (or something like that) and then a few seconds later he says "oh, it looks like they only gave him a two"
Good stuff. He is the THT of broadcasters. Has a great skill that keeps him in his job (AMAZING voice) and is hilariously bad at the same time.

Dear Olynyk: Please stop flopping.
This. he has been the only player on the team that I have hated this entire season. that isn't to say he isn't playing well this season or being a major part of our wins. I just hate watching him. He annoys the crap out of me all the time.

FWIW I would like to go on the record as saying im not pro tank or anti tank. Im pro jazz and this season its ALL good.
I'm all for them competing and playing hard but man the draft odds just keep getting worse and worse..

Sorry but I think this team needs one top 5 pick and they could be set for a nice long run. I don't think they have enough young talent at this point especially when you compare our under 24 yo players to some of the other rosters in this league.

Not to be a buzzkill but Jazz likely lose if CP3 was playing tonight.
They keep lucking out. So many stars on opposing teams have missed games against the Jazz (CP3, Morant, Bane, Ingram, Kawhi, Lebron, etc)
Eh, they were missing their 40 year old and we were missing our 40 year old as well. sixes ;)

Really doe, if cp3 plays he probably takes some shots away from booker and the guys whose minutes went up in cp3 absence played very well.

Dont call it luck and try to take something away from that win. Suns played great. Just not as good as the jazz.

No, other teams are lucking out that we’ve been given the worst schedule in the entire league. It is continuing too. We have to travel to Portland tomorrow for a back-to-back.
I bet we win. Dame or no dame

The start of one game isn't a very good sample size imo.
FWIW he is averaging 4 free throw attempts per game. I have no idea if that is high, low, or average for a player like him. Seems low if I had to guess though.
When he's aggressive he typically gets calls. He isnt always aggressive. His 4 per game is a fair number for him.

Booker drops 49 on us. How many guys are we going to see with career nights?
You are forgetting the most important career high tonight. Lauri. Also, im pretty sure 49 isn't bookers career high. I think he scored over 60 one time or something.

This game may have sent me off the edge. At times they looked sooooo good, and then they’d turn around and have some of the stupidest dumbass defensive miss cues or turn the ball over in the most idiotic dumb moves or give up a fast break off a made bucket or in one on one situation we’d just for some odd reason back off of Booker as if to say here you go. Needless to say my wife is on the phone in the middle of having me committed and it’s probably for the best, I’m just going to let it happen.

90% of Jazz games have been fantastic to watch this year. Win or lose.

Yep. They are in pretty much every game. I think the denver game was the only one that was over when there was like 5 minutes to go still.

Sorry but these wins on the back of Olynyk and Conley are not a recipe for long term success. Ask the treadmill Knicks about moral victory wins when a potential superstar is available in the draft.

When we are getting our butts whooped by the next generation of stars Victor, Scoot, Amen, etc the next decade we can look back on this.
Back of olynyk lol. You have to be kidding. I put this on the back of markennan more than anyone. Probably beasely after that. Vando had major contributions too.

Lauri played well but he was getting pushed around like a rag doll trying to grab any rebounds in the last few minutes of that game.
Even more of a reason not to play him at the 5 like cy suggested then.
btw, lol at the adjective you chose to use to describe his play tonight. Career high deserves a different adjective than "well" imo.

I just want to go on record as saying that everybody is entitled to a rough night every now and then. Sure Olynyk struggled some tonight but he’s coming off a performance where he scored 27 points with ten boards. Kessler struggled as well, just not as conspicuously as Olynyk did in crunch time. As usual, Sexton played simultaneously terrible and amazing at the same time - some strong D in transition. Clarkson was playing so bad, coach forgot about him on the bench for a minute, but man did he come back motivated in crunch time. Conley forgot he was a midget in the land of the giants for a minute but besides Markkanen was the star of the game and huge down the stretch. I’m not giving up on none of these guys!!!

Good news is they have SO MANY picks that the odds of one of them being an all star is pretty high. I would guess that more than one of our picks we acquired recently becomes an all star.
Or we could use some of the picks to acquire a star via trade. Things look good for the jazz franchise. Its not a bad thing to have a really good young cheap team with an amazing coach lots of draft picks and financial flexibility. This is a good thing.

On the back of Olynyk? Dawg Olynyk was on Phoenix’s team tonight it was 6-4 and we still won.

This is correct but that doesn’t mean we can’t be pissed about how bad they were tonight.
