2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I like sensabaugh… likely has to pass more in the nba but if I was his coach in college why would I want him to pass? No one else gonna score at that volume and efficiency.

The defense will be a problem. He might be a different version of what Mathurin is doing. Which is pretty great in the 10-17 range.

Couldn’t think of a third basketball comp… so I picked a guy universally loved to strengthen the threesome. I mean if Paul Rudd wanted to join you and your wife in the sack be honest… neither of you are saying no.

Makess total sense.
He is quite loveable

I get the sense that Sensabaugh is going to make some big buckets in the NBA. I'm trying to think if there is a better iso-scorer in this draft.

That is some high praise. Im surprised i havent more posts about him then. What is his projected spot in he draft and what are his measurements?

Sensabraugh has a lot of James Harden in him. I hope his rebounding translates.
Honestly that was the comp I thought of last night.

Harden on offense but he might not get 10 assists In a season where Harden will get that in a half some nights.

Sensabaugh is just wildly crafty and can get his shot when ever he wants to while not being a plus athlete. I have seen him get blocked a lot on 3 games though. Like 4 times in one game if I remember right.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched this many games in a 48 hr period, good lord.

Cason Wallace was fantastic tonight. Most college players are spaz’s but he’s so poised. Scored when he needed to, hit 3’s, got to the hoop and drew fouls, so many great entry passes, absolute beast on defense. Love that kid.

Dick was eh tonight. Wallace defended him a lot and did well on him. Dick did hit a dagger 3 on Wallace though, and defended well in spurts. Just a mediocre game for him.

Jalen Hood-Schifino really impressed me tonight. Didn’t hurt he was on absolute fire in the first half from 3 and ended like 6/8 or something. Dudes a big guard who handles well, facilitates and D’s the **** up. He’s a top 20 guy for me right now.

Sensabaugh was the best I’ve seen him out of the 3 full games I’ve watched. He can’t be guarded 1:1 at that level. I will bet that he’s not a legit 6’6” though.

I can’t shake the feeling he’s walking bucket but nothing else though. It’s wild how skilled he is in ISO but doesn’t impact the game in any other ways. But what he does well, he’s elite at.

Wallace is one of those guys that should be an immediate solid plug and play guy and fits with any team. Good call on Jalen Hood. He has a nice well rounded game. Even though our drafts picks are not looking real great right now the good news is we continue to see more guys forcing their way into the 1st rd conversation.

Lol that was the exact same last night. Their 2 bigs aren’t even certain of the basic rules of basketball it looks like.

“Is this where I bounce it up and down time?”
It was just so bad and they kept trying to force it to them… my basketball senses were appalled so I moved on immediately and will just trust experts and highlight reels on him… ain’t nobody got time for that.

So Corey Maggette?

I haven't watched OSU yet so I have no idea

Corey was a bucket but Sensabaugh shoots the **** out of it. Derozan with a 3 point jumper but no bounce? I worry a bit on him cuz he looks kinda smaller than his listing, the defense, and the meniscus injuries in HS... at some point you just have to look at the strengths of a dude though.

My Hendricks is better than Walker take is not likely to age well and he is showing out more... Imma stick with it for the funsies but I am big fans of both dudes at this point.

I would bet real money he’s 6’4”…..6’5” at very most.

His shot is almost automatic though but I think he gets blocked even more anywhere near the paint, since it’s already happening a lot at the NCAA level. He’s a professional scorer though, no doubt.

It is is shocking sometimes how inept basketball coaches are. For the last 2 years when the utes backup bigs come into the game they constantly get into the post and ask for the ball even though that is not even remotely close to being a strength and the coaches do nothing about it. These are bigs that should be strictly used as screener and role men but instead they clog the paint trying to establish position.

Nothing like Maggette who was relentless at attacking the basket. Sensabaugh is truly an elite shooter at the college level.
I should clarify. He reminds me physically of Maggette and a professional scorer.

His game reminds me of Harden, offensively.

The college game is so different. There are dudes in college that just own the paint and look like peak Al Jefferson on the block but aren’t being talked about as even draftable because none of that skill translates in the modern NBA.

It’s why when I watch guys im like “okay but what could this guy do if they weren’t playing a zone and trying to post up on both sides of the paint. It’s so hard to evaluate.

It’s just so congested
