I loved the Malone/Kareem/LeBron tribute. That was cool.

I enjoyed the game. At least the ball hogs were people I like watching.

This is supposed to be fun for the players, not to be a hyper competitive game. I thought Lauri got more plays than first-timers often do.

He was on the losing team…
So if his team had him it would have been more interesting? Maybe his team would have won?

Yeah. There was a car turning left and if this one car hadn't been going through the intersection they would have been able to turn one cycle earlier. So I see what you mean by interesting.

LeBron's team had never lost before …

All star game is an absolute farce it’s a joke of a spectacle at least in the 90s when Jordan Malone bird we’re playing they took it pretty seriously

I remember when LeBrons and friends were younger and Kobe was old, only Kobe took it seriously.

Now LeBron looks old compared to these younguns .. pity he injured his fingers or else it would have been more competitive down the stretch for sure.

idk, I found the Malone, Kareem, LBJ thing kind of awkward. Felt like pandering and it felt like they were kind of forced into it.

But I disagree this is about the players. They get theirs EVERY SINGLE DAY as an NBA star with multi-hundred-million dollar contracts paid for, you know, by the fans. This is supposed to be about the fans really, and they have completely lost sight of that imo. Otherwise just let the players choose the all-stars and go from there. I get it is a fun game for them and all that and a break in the middle of the season, but it has become entirely about stroking egos of multi-millionaire man-children, to the point they have taken any semblance of competition out of the actual game. Or any of it really. The only ones who really compete are the 3 point and dunk competitors. It's a farce really. Too bad, there was a time it was actually a really fun weekend to watch the NBA. Those days are long gone.
