So the premise is that you have three different eras of Utah Jazz basketball and you have the opportunity to add any three Utah Jazz players, from any point, to those teams. The only exclusions are that you can’t select anyone whose number is currently retired. You also are limited to what they did with us, so you can’t select Atlanta Hawks Paul Millsap, for instance. Three players may be a bit of an excess, so beyond selecting three players, you also have to register a final answer on who you would choose for that era if you only got to add one player.

Below are the three eras where you can add three players (simultaneously), while also selecting who you would choose if you only had one choice:

1. The 1997 and 1998 finals teams.

2. The Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur WCF team (and the subsequent couple years).

3. The Donovan Mitchell / Rudy Gobert era.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but the only correct answer is adding Gobert to the finals teams. Adding our best non retired jersey player to our best team, which happened to be weakest at the position he plays, I'm not sure how you could really argue otherwise.

Personally, I love Deron Williams, and adding him to the Donovan/Gobert era would have been amazing, especially since we struggled with a consistent point guard that whole time.
