What's new

We should not have traded NAW

Eh, 10 games in, still to early. Look how long it took for Conley to get into any kind of groove here, where we were already highly successful and just looking for the 2nd Robin on a contender. It will take them a while to really get into a groove.
By that time who cares? They only have 14 games left total in the regular season. We also don’t own their pick or pick swap next year either which is the last year on Conley’s deal.

I wasn't commenting on that, just the fact that it is too early to call them picking up Conley a bust.

Making Wolves better? They are 4-6 with Conley.

We made the Lakers better which helps both of our picks but that Minny picture is so stupid since its a snapshot of their lowest point over a month before the trade, and DLo hot shooting was instrumental in carrying them out of that hole.
Have you seen ATL-MIN game. We make them better by giving them Conley.

Slight pivot from all the impassioned comments above… I was really disappointed we traded away NAW initially. I thought he was making real strides and showed he could be a disruptive player on D. But then we locked up Dunn who is still relatively young, on a team-friendly contract, and has been more effective/exciting than NAW ever showed here.
