I still don't entirely like it. We were a play in team pre trade and we got a protected pick in return. That pick is so enticing because it very well may be a top 4 pick.
What exactly would making the play-in tournament with guys who aren’t in our future plans do for us?

Playoff experience is highly beneficial imo. Guys like Lauri, Ochai, Kessler and Dunn could've gained a feel for it.
Has anyone noticed how many FRPs the Jazz have in 2027?
- Cavs 1st unprotected
- Twolves 1st unprotected
- Lakers 1st top-4 protected
- Jazz own pick
We own 13.3% of the entire first round in 2027. Other teams own multiple firsts as well. There is like 3-4 teams that will own close to 1/3 of the entire first round combined.
I sure hope I'm alive 5 years from now so that I can enjoy this.
