2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I'm relatively certain that if we didn't trade up to get Trey Burke we would have drafted Giannis. On the other hand, the trade up to get Deron was pretty genius. I'm not certain anyone else outside of the top 3 is a Deron Williams. I'm seeing a number of Trey Burkes though.
I'd like to think that because Giannis at 14 and Gobert at 21 would have been a helluva draft, but I think I read somewhere they would have drafted Gobert at 14.

We were gonna take Gobert. Giannis was actually being hidden by some team (the Hawks I think) but the Bucks took him anyways.

Keyonte George been dropping on draft boards …

But look at what Jamaal Murray is doing for Denver.

I’m not saying they're comparable prospects but their games are similar.
They are comparable, don't let these clowns bully you.

George was a top 10 ranked HS player. He had a bad season, but he's a great prospect.

Murray isn't a world beater. He played on one of those UK teams where they didn't have a ton of talent (no one on that team is still in the NBA). Pretty much everyone deferred to him and Ulis. George had to play on a senior backcourt team where he didn't get that ball as much.
