2023 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread

Celtics' on ball creation is limited. They play through Tatum, which is fine on some plays, but they need a lead guard who can really run plays. Smart isn't the greatest, but he can do more to break the paint than Tatum.

Tatum last play of 1st half - dribbles down clock and forces a contested 3. Big miss, Heat look like they have a shot here if they remained poised.
First play of 2nd half Butler steps into a 3 and drills it, becoming clear who came to play.

Make or miss league.

Celtics from 3: 8-37. 21%
Miami from 3: 14-28. 50%

Thats ball game right there.

Tatum is just like Donovan. Borderline Super Star but will never get it done when it matters.

Now pay me... Or simply apologize and admit your not as smart as you think you are.

And don't ever mock my superior basketball IQ again, thanks. We have enough Skip Bayless wannabes without the likes of you.

20 points in the last 6 quarters. He didn't get it done when it matters. Exactly like I said.

Tatum got injured in the first play of the game and was clearly hobbled all game.
Yeah... Respectively to you that's not going to fly in this case. He was also completely absent the last half of the last game too. If not for a miracle he would've been done sooner.

Again... He's a fantastic player, borderline Superstar but he's not going to be the main guy on a Championship team.

This series shows how important Vets are. Boston is great with JT And JB. But Buttler, even Lowrie make some differences. At the jazz, we will need on or two good vets to go along with our young talented players.
