2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Why do people gotta be so hypocritical of posters on this site… I mean people understand jokes… even the poster who made the comment laughed.

I’m really intrigued by Jordan Hawkins. I feel we don’t talk enough about him he should be discussed with the 9th pick but really hope we can get him with the 16th or use 16 and 28 to move to 14-15 to get him. He’s an elite shooter and skilled with the ball.

I love him… he looks a bit longer than his measurements when on court… had hoped he’d measure a bit better. I love him at 16 and it seems he’s slipping a bit. I thought he’d be gone by then… so I guess the measurements are fine with that regard.

If he is dropping that’s music to my ears. I would be on cloud 9 if we got him at 16, and I wouldn’t be disappointed if we got him at 9.

Conventional wisdom says that the Jazz can sit at #9 and have their choice of Black, Wallace, George, Bufkin or Hood-Schifino, all of whom could get drafted in the 10 - 15 range. So they should be able to choose their PGOTF. Then at #16, shooters like Whitehead and Sensabaugh, or upside plays like GG and Bilal, would make sense. At 28, they can pick an athletic defensive wing like Cissoko, Rupert or Walsh.

The Jazz don't really need to make moves to have a good draft. They'll just miss out on the top 7 or 8 guys.
your right. and lets face it. literally nobody knows who the top 7 or 8 guys are. it is very likely the 10th pick, whoever that is, will be better than the 6th pick - or whatever.

Only issue with Whitmore is he’s a 2 feet jumper.. I have bad memories about 2 feet jumpers.
he's not a two feet jumper. that's a myth. it was mentioned on JF at one point, but it's myth that is easy to debunk just by watching his highlights. he'll jump off two at times and off one at times.

leonard miller is my #1 target at 16, but if he's not there Hawkins is probably my guy. ideally, the jazz would trade up and get another pick in the mid teens so they could take miller or some other athlete or PG and then get their knock down shooter in Hawkins as well.

Lol from the guy who throws out STFU like 5x a day… bruh it’s a damn joke. Just say my name if you want to call me out.

Also Jimmy is really effing unique… there isn’t a player like him in this draft.
I'm not really calling any one person out as I've seen it from multiple people.

Bad memories? Donovan was a two foot jumper and that worked out pretty great. Obviously it's better to have a versatile jump package to get above the rim, but it's not necessary.

No Ceilings had a former New Orleans executive on and that dude loves Bilal. Thinks he is a lock to go to the Thunder at 12(admittedly is a very Thunder draft pick) and could see them moving up to make sure they get him.

Who was that 2nd pick in the draft that jumps off of 2 feet and was out of the league within 5 years?
