absolutely. probably a safer pick even than some above him. imagine if somebody did a big board the year desmond bane was drafted. or the year jimmy butler was drafted and put them in the top 10. you would have said they were crazy yet they would have been correct. the fact is, where guys are mocked and even ultimately drafted doesn't mean they can't or won't far outperform those spots. and that's how i see podz. he's being significantly underrated - and i hope the jazz take advantage of that and scoop him up at 28.

I might move a few guys around a slot or two but this board is very similar to my Jazz specific board. Slots 4-8 look like a real sweet spot for their needs so it's potentially a little tenuous sitting at 9. GG could of course become a really nice player but do think his floor is quite a bit lower than some of these other prospects.

I think its a good draft... and there are a handful of guys I think are higher upside bets than normal. Whitehead and even NSJ (not my guy but in the 20s sure) being injured most of the year hurts their stock making them value bets.

At 28 there are dudes that do some good things and you can ignore their warts. I'd say its better than average and there is a lot of potential opportunity with high picks potentially being available.

100%. I considered putting him in my top-5 actually. Great size, great defender, will be a great connector at the next level, high IQ, etc. I think he will end up being serviceable from 3 as well.
