Jarace wont be available unless he has bad medicals, and there is a great chance Hendricks goes one pick sooner if they dont want to pay Kuzma.
Grady Dick is not going in the top 10.
I think Black will be on the board, if they like him, But imo we will not pick him over a higher upside front court option or a potentially elite off ball shooter. You can essentially get the advanced more proven version of Anthony Black, at 16. with Andre Jackson Jr.
I mean if you really want that archetype, thats the guy you take and maybe even get him at 28.
This idea that Black will somehow be the pick is a joke imo. The scouts that love him, are the same one's that hyped him up expecting more, and have done nothing but make excuses for him since.
They will die up there and everyone stupid enough to stay on the hill with them.

Man someone in they feels. Just thought it’s hilarious that last week Givony was biased and his reps didn’t setup the right pro day and none of this was GGs fault… plus he had the plague.
Him tanking a workout is completely consistent with like the 15 other red flags you zoomed past… how is red flag 16 what takes him from #9 to second round? I mean he prolly did it on purpose cuz he doesn’t want to go to that team.

What I have always heard about black is that he loves the game and puts in extra time. I think we could do far worse at 9. Seems like a high character kid as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone takes him before 9. That inevitably will push one of the front court options to us……or if ausar was passed on him. Wouldn’t mind moving up from 9….but at the same time I feel like we may get good or equal value at 9 standing pat. Doubt we give up our future for portlands pick.
Again, I never said Givony was wrong. I said the inclusion of the measurements stuff made it personal. Like GG refused an interview/video thing DX does and I still believe that.
And again, being out of shape is one thing. Being immature is one thing, but the stuff Parrish described is next level in terms of the headspace this prospect is in.

he is clearly not really that guy though, or he would have spent countless years refining his shooting to become a pro level prospect. Instead he is just another run jump athlete who has been around the game a long time and has spent all his time playing the defense card.
I have obviously seen more of his pathetic play than you have. I honestly cannot remember someone as highly touted point blank air ball 2 lay ups let alone one lay up in the same game.
In the biggest game of his life he did nothing offensively, being left wide open and dared to shoot. Yes he played lock down defense against another overrated guy smh

I just don't get Dick in anyone's top 10. I'm not sure I would consider him top 16. Hopefully somebody takes him before then so somebody better falls.
Some interesting tidbits from Bryan Kalbrosky’s latest mock draft from USA Today. All of the stats are via Stats Perform.
Whitmore scored 0.76 points per touch on drives which is as the best among players projected to go in the first.
Hendricks is one of 10 high-major freshman ever to record 35 dunks and 35 threes in their freshman season. Most recent freshman to do it was Mathurin. 7 out of the last 9 to do it went top-7.
Black shot 37.5% on uncontested 3’s and 47.1% on threes from NBA range.
Wallace shot 42.1% on threes from NBA range and 48.4% on corner threes.
Rafael Barlowe said several scouts and agents believe OKC is targeting Bilal at 12.
Michigan outscored opponents by 24.3 points per 100 possessions when Bufkin was on the court vs when he was not which was 4th best among players in high-major college basketball.
Marquette outscored opponents by 26.8 points per 100 possessions when OMP was on the court vs when he was not which ranked 2nd best among players in high-major college basketball.

One thing to keep in mind is even though Bufkin is a sophomore he is still younger than Jett, Jarace, JHS and B. Miller.
Fizdale ran into Jett at the combine and reminded him of how Jett used to shoot hoops on his mini nerf basket in his office when he was a kid when his dad Juwan was with Miami. Pretty cool story.
