Sexton is one of our most tradable assets, so even though I like him I am not sure he stays.
I'm not so sure. The market sets the price on a player. If the Jazz want him, they can take him at 9. The question is where they rate him vis a vis Anthony Black, imo. I think that's a very reasonable debate.

Thank God that is not the kind of coach we hired.
Black isn’t going to be there at 9 but if somehow he is and we pass on him I would be sick.
I just think there is a set in stone top-9 players in my opinion. There is a clear drop off at 10.

I wonder how much of this Bilal hype is just because he and Wemby are the only prospects still playing competitive basketball this close to the draft.....

I would love to get this guy on a 2 way. Has defensive highlights that surpass Cason Wallace, but he is more Davion Mitchell sized.
There's a hole in my heart from GG Jackson that needs to be replaced by another 18 year old wing prospect and I guess Bilal has to fill it.

That's rough. A Bilal/JHS draft would be elite, but can JHS last 5 picks?
I'm kind of all in on Bilal. He's starting to string together really nice performances in the playoffs. If you can get him and JHS you really bring a ton of size and skill with a commitment to perimeter defense that is versatile.

#grand mal for Bilal
Zaccharie Risacher (ranked #3 2024 by DX) had zero points and 3 minutes total in the four game series against Mets 92. He is 8/9 months younger than Bilal, but it shows how hard it is to contribute at this level even as an elite prospect. These coaches do not like to rely on their talented teenagers.
I’m not sure how anyone can have JHS ranked higher than Black or Wallace. He is a worse shooter than both and he isn’t as good of a defender as either.

Not sure what to think of Bilal as a prospect quite yet, but in general I'm excited that more talent looks to be available at 16 now.
