"Hey Jazz fans! Just wanted to take a couple minutes and say thank you for everything you guys have done for me these past 2.5 years. I honestly had no idea what to expect when I came here. My Grandpa Korver always tells me, when you pray, expect the unexpected. Well, Utah was very unexpected! But man.... but you guys have helped make these past seasons the most enjoyable of my career.

I have a lot of respect for everyone associated with the Jazz. They run a 1st class organization and I am very grateful for the opportunity that they gave me. I feel like I grew as a player and as a person while I was here..and I think that has to do a lot with the company that you keep.

Several other things came up in Utah besides the Jazz. Seer Group and Seer Clothing are the results of the efforts of lots of people here. It is our intention for Seer Group to continue in SLC for many years to come. There are several purposes for our foundation, but one of the biggest ones is to say thank you. So, thank you to this community for all you've been and done for me and my family. See you guys next year. When the schedule comes out, I'll have that Jazz game circled! "

Nice of him to reach out the the Jazz fans and show appreciaton. Didn't Boozer do something like this... oh wait...
 
Man, watching him shoot during warmups and his pregame reps with Horny was a thing of beauty. I would kill small children for that stroke. I wish him well on the Chicago Jazz.
 
Saw him yesterday at a restaurant with (his girlfriend?) in Salt Lake.
He's is one of the better guys in the league. Dude doesn't draw attention to himself like other NBA players.
I heard from someone that he gives like 1/3 of his paycheck to like charity or something, which is pretty unbelievable in my book.
 
Kyle always seemed classy and really embraced and was embraced by the community. Would love to still have him, but wish him the best for his career. Maybe he'll pull a Raja and hit us up again. Quality guy, that KK
 
The Jazz lost two good players and two very good guys this offseason. And that's okay.

Like with Wesley, I wish Korver all the luck in the world when not playing against the Jazz.
 
You hate to lose a guy like this. Not just for what he does on the court but what he does for the community around him. He's a great example to a lot of kids. He'll be missed. Thanks for everything KK!

Think about the rather small list of ways the Jazz could have ended up with a $13M TPE on a sign-and-trade for Boozer WITHOUT a sixth year on that contract. Have you made your list of ways? Okay, now make sure you realize that Boozer ABSOLUTELY had something to do with that. The best bloody goodbye present this organization could have received.

Korver and Matthews should receive a standing "O."
Everyone should say "Boom" when Kosta returns.

And I know the fans at the ESA will give a very warm welcome to Carlos when he returns.
 
That's a pretty classy move considering the Jazz really didn't want/need him back. I imagine a guy like Korver is really easy to deal with in the locker room and was liked all around. I love players with a sweet shot. It's almost a lost art these days. But Korver is a pretty flawed basketball player. It's good to know that the NBA isn't completely comprised of d-bags.

All of this offseason activity is making the Hayward pick look better and better....
 
Korver is a class act. More should be more like him, great guy and will be missed. Good luck to him in Chi town

Boozer didn't get a 6th year. The TPE was a courtesy extended to KOC from Paxson. It cost Utah a 2nd-rounder, which I guess has to be included for a trade to be considered valid (pick, player or draft rights to a player). But listen to the interview. KOC makes it very clear Paxson didn't have to do it. And that KOC would return a favor down the road if a similar chance arose. It's a gentleman's game for the GM's. Boozer had absolutely NOTHING to do with getting us the TPE.
 
Korver a good guy and very smart. He knows by playing on the same team as boozer that his defense will never get questioned. Bright fella
 
I will miss Korver. He was one of my favorite players. In fact it's going to be a lot easier to root for Chi now that he and Brewer are on that team.
